Honeymoon fund instead of Retail Registry

Melissa, on February 16, 2020 at 10:34 PM Posted in Registry 0 7
So since we already live together, We rather our guest contribute to our honeymoon find. Like things to do in the area. Would like the money to go on a separate card or account that we can not touch until then and have it set up for guest to contribute too. Ideas on how to do this?

I set up a cash fund with Zola but be mindful that there’s a small transaction fee

Use Zola or Honeyfund. The money can be transferred to your bank account once it's processed which only takes a few days. There is a fee with each transaction.

Just don't register and people will most likely gift you cash anyway. No transaction fees required.

There are websites for this. Be aware that they do charge a fee and most guests don’t give until really close to the wedding, so if you need the money to book the honeymoon then you’ll need to take a delayed trip.

I used wanderable honeymoon fund. They have smaller transaction fees than most other sites.

As others have said: Zola or Honeyfund.

In some cultures, there is a “money chest” for guests who prefer to drop off cash gifts and/or a card with a check inside at the reception. Some guests will go ahead and mail checks if you’re not registered for any physical items.

Thank you all! We are purchasing the cabin in advance so money will be use for things to do on the mountain. I think I will check out zola and honey fund and have a chest at the reception. Thank you all for your advice 😍
