Honeymoon fund jar or no?

Tabatha, on June 2, 2017 at 6:36 PM Posted in Honeymoon 0 64

Is it tacky to have at your wedding? If you did have one, where did you put it?

My mother wants us to do a money dance but I do not want to do that.. I'd rather have a jar or something but if it's tacky then we will skip it

Thanks in advance!

Panhandling at your wedding is extremely tacky and rude

If people want to give you money, they'll put it in a card for you. Asking for even more is rude and ungrateful.

Nope. Your guests should not have to pull out their wallets at your wedding.

So in my family it is tradition to do the $$ dance. Which I hate. So we are putting a honeymoon fund jar by the card table and we are not expecting anything. But it's my way around it Smiley smile

Extremely tacky. Have a jar in your home and put your loose change/bills in it. Voila! Honeymoon jar.

Of course it's tacky. You're panhandling. Why tf would panhandling ever be appropriate at a party you obviously spent thousands of dollars to throw?!

It's only tacky to some people. My family is very accepting of honeyfunds. Some families are not accepting.

Both the jar and the dance are tacky. I'd put the jar faaaaaaaar away from my wedding.
