Honeymoon fund

A lot of them take from your profit and are scams. We just didn't have a registry and if people asked, we told them that we would appreciate anything toward a honeymoon amd graduate school. No one was mad.

View Quoted Comment I agree with this. They are just an unnecessary middle man that takes a cut. We had a registry with a decent number of things, but physical gifts were primarily bought for the shower. Everyone except 1 person gave a check or cash gift at the wedding, no fees required.

Yes it’s normal, they need to know where to send the money. I don’t think that I had to give them my bank info until I took the money out though.

Yes, it’s totally normal so they know where to send the money to.

Yes, that is how they transfer the money to you.

It's best to use a well-known and vetted one. We used the Knot's, because they didn't put a limit to how many times we could transfer.

It’s normal. Just use well-known ones like Honeyfund or Zola. If The Knot has one, I’m sure that’s safe too.
