Honeymoon Fund?

Gofundme isn’t a honeymoon fund. It’s so often associated with raising money for charitable donations or medical costs that it can look tacky like you’re just raising money.
I used Travelersjoy which was great and easy to use, but they do take fees just like other similar websites. Honestly, a lot of people still brought checks to the wedding, so while the honeymoon fund was good for me because we have family from out of the country with different currencies and the fund made it easy, I think you can still do without a fund, not register, and most people will bring cash to your wedding g.

This is great advice. People know money is a good gift. And GoFundMe is for charitable funds, so it gives the wrong tone as a honeyfund.

they charged like.. i think 2.5% transaction fee

We used the Knot's registry. We found it had a low fee, unlimited transfers, and because it was already attached to the Knot's website, easy to link.

I did mine through Zola! Honeyfund is definitely a good option too though! I would just try to register for multiple places if possible so people can still give small gifts as opposed to cash as well

We also used The Knot's registry, but none of our guests actually contributed through it. All cash/check gifts were received in cards that were brought to the wedding or mailed directly to us.
