I am from Pennsylvania and we got married in Scranton which isn't far from The Poconos. The Poconos is a very touristy area in PA. I would check out the Mountain Airy Resort. I have never been, but there is a casino there along with a spa, pool, indoor golfing, dining, and nightclub. There is also the Kalahari Resort which is basically an indoor waterpark. They also have mini bowling, spa & salon, black light mini golf, escape rooms, and dining.

I recommend you rent an airbnb somewhere in tge middle of the state

For our honeymoon we rented an air bnb in the poconos. Have plans to go hiking, visit a winery, go shopping, bonfires, grilling etc. I believe there is another romantic spot called Caesars palace: huge bathtub, etc; you can google it and check it out!

What about the Poconos? Or venturing to New Jersey and going to Atlantic City. The drive is only about an hour from philly

We’ve been going through a lot seeing as how we had to change the date of our large wedding to next year and we’re doing a small ceremony this year.

I get it! My husband and I just went to the National Harbor this past weekend after our minimony (Close to Washington DC) We LOVEEEE Atlantic City there is so much to do their besides gambling. My husband and I are actually in the middle of planning another weekend get away to Philly soon.

Nemacolin Resort in the Allegheny HIghlands is very nice. Activities, restaurants, nice rooms, and the countryside is beautiful.
