Honeymoon ideas please

Melissarochelle, on April 29, 2021 at 12:24 AM Posted in Honeymoon 0 3
We are taking a smaller honeymoon since we want to save for a house and need ideas. We would be staying 3 nights and 4 days. We want that “Christmas winter” feel. Want to ice skate outside and see tons of Christmas festivities do you guys have any ideas?

Lake Tahoe is gorgeous, you couldn’t go wrong there. I’ve also heard Breckinridge is beautiful at Christmas time, but have yet to see it myself.

I agree with Lake Tahoe or you could do New York City if you would like a city atmosphere. They absolutely have the best Christmas decorations everywhere and they do have more than one outdoor skating rink

What part of the country are you looking at? For East Coast, New York City is a fabulous idea because they decorate like crazy for Christmas. We've also been on winter getaways, although not during Christmas, to Lake Placid, New Hampshire near the Ice Castles, and Maine by the shore. I would highly recommend Lake Placid or New Hampshire if you're looking at the east coast. Lake Placid has all of the Olympic sites, they have sleigh rides in winter so long as there is enough snow on the ground, they have a cute little downtown area that I'm sure is decorated for Christmas, they have dog sleds, and they have spas for relaxation if that's something you'd prefer to do. New Hampshire has a TON to do for winter as well, and when we visited the ice castles, they still had some Christmas decorations still up.
