Honeymoon ideas

I should clarify that we are getting married this June!

Would you be open to the east coast, particularly the northeast? New England is temperate in June and positively gorgeous. Try looking at Stowe, VT; Augusta, ME; Wolfeboro, NH; Cape Cod, MA; Scituate. MA; Newport, RI.


For other places on the east coast, I love St. Michael's, MD; Montauk, NY; Lake Placid. NY; Richmond, VA; Holden Beach, NC; Gettysburg, PA.
For context on my suggestions, I am not a beach person but I like beautiful scenery, things to do, chte downtown shopping, nice walks, some historic sites, good food, and quaint environments.

Do you want city, or country? Touristy or quiet retreat? Theme park?

Budget, length?

LOTS of things to do - and you can always take a delayed honeymoon. We did Disney about 5 months after we got married, because FL + August = uggggggggggggh.

Hi Taylor! What about Canada or Alaska?? It will be cooler and absolutely gorgeous! Lake Tahoe is also on my bucket list, and Seattle is a really fun city to visit and explore! ❤️

Congrats! My absolutely fav place to vacation to locally is South Lake Tahoe. Warmer (comfortable) summer temps and cool at night, lots of cute little shops and restaurants and TONS of scenic hikes if you’re into those kinds of things. Lodging can get pricey but there are a few casinos (Harras/Harvey’s and Hard Rock) on the main strip that offer reasonable prices. Ultimately it just depends on what you’re wanting to do activity -wise. Tahoe is perfect for outdoorsy activities while entertainment-wise it’s not as exciting as say, Vegas.
