Honeymoon in January 2021?!?

Hi everyone!

We are getting married January 15th 2021, thankfully we've been planning a small family elopement style wedding prior to COVID. So it is going to work out but we really wanted to go on a honeymoon. We had our eyes on Dominican Republic! Anyone else taking a honeymoon at the beginning of the year? Or anyone's thoughts overall?

    We're getting married on the 23rd of January and was going to do a cruise (until it was canceled). Now we're just gonna go to Florida for our honeymoon instead. DR sounds nice though!

    We are honeymooning in DR this January 2021!! We chose Secret's Cap Cana for 4 nights, 5 days in late January. We LOVE Secrets and were just at their Cancun resort in August and my parents were at another Secrets in Cancun in November. They have been handling Covid beautifully!! I hope you choose DR!!

    Our big wedding is March 2022 & we haven't booked a honeymoon yet because we want to see what happens with Covid first. We definitely don't feel comfortable going out of the country yet though

    We are going on our honeymoon in January 2021 as well. We didn't feel comfortable traveling internationally, so we decided to go to Georgia and save an international trip for our anniversary in hopes some questions will be answered about the pandemic by then!

    We are definitely scheduled to honeymoon in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico in Jan 2021 at Grand Fiesta Americana. So far there are no travel restrictions to that area. I have already talked to my uncle and aunt who just got back from Riviera Maya, Mexico celebrating their anniversary and they said they thoroughly enjoyed it. Social distancing is still going on and resorts are doing everything to ensure the safety of their customers. You can also view Youtube videos of people who have travelled internationally in the last month to get a better feel.

    I'm getting married on 9th Jan with close family only. I live in the UK and they keep changing where you can travel to at the drop of a hat so we decided to leave the big honeymoon for now and stay in a hotel in the UK. It's an amazing hotel with themed rooms and looks super relaxing, so we're happy with it for now. Doing a vow renewal and bigger celebration in Jan 2022 so we are thinking of honeymooning after that.

    We also getting married in January. We’re doing a small road trip to Charleston, SC and then doing a big all inclusive whenever it’s safe.

    We're getting married 1/2/21 in North Carolina and honeymooning at a resort in blowing rock, nc. Just a little getaway. We'll do a bigger vacation later
