Hi everyone!

We are getting married January 15th 2021, thankfully we've been planning a small family elopement style wedding prior to COVID. So it is going to work out but we really wanted to go on a honeymoon. We had our eyes on Dominican Republic! Anyone else taking a honeymoon at the beginning of the year? Or anyone's thoughts overall?

Thanks!

We are getting married at 1/9/2021. We live in the Tampa Bay Area of Florida so we are traveling to the other side of Florida and staying at an Airbnb in St. Augustine for our honeymoon. We had originally planned on a cruise so we will do that later when it’s safe. I’m very excited about it!

We are getting married on Jan 30th and going to St. Lucia sandals resort the first week of Feb for 5 nights. We are so excited, never been to an all inclusive. I am going to call the resort next week and ask a few questions about traveling restrictions, etc before we pay the final deposit but as of now we are planning to go!

We're getting married January 2nd and our honeymoon is planned for the 10th to the 15th in Hawaii. Fingers crossed that's still a go! So far so good.

We are still planning to go to Hawaii in April because who knows what's happening these days LOL but make sure that you can refund your deposit or rebook your flight just in case you have to postpone!

We are getting married January 2nd! Since we live in FL where it’s sunny all the time and we are 5 minutes away from the beach we wanted to go somewhere cold. I’m born and raised in FL so I’ve never seen snow. We are going to Gatlinburg, TN for our honeymoon! Nice and cold with lots of moonshine!

It’s the perfect time for St. Augustine too! I think they’ll still have all the lights up!

Yes I think so too! I was disappointed for a while because I really wanted to go on my cruise haha but we found the most adorable Airbnb and with the lights too I think it’s going to be magical and relaxing!

Hi everyone, we are getting married on the 3rd of Jan. But don't want to take any risks with the covid situation, therefore, small wedding and no honeymoon for now.
Hopefully will be able to plan a trip during summer.

Getting married in April and we decided to stay in Florida and go to the keys. My FH has a list from his work on states and metropolitan areas that he's not allowed to visit anyways because of COVID. We would have loved to go to Ireland. Maybe someday in the future, but we still want a honeymoon now. If you have the opportunity to go, I would go.

    Good Morning ladies!

I'm getting married in June and I haven't booked anything for my honeymoon just yet. I either want to go to Japan or Mexico (complete opposite ends of the fun/relaxing spectrum, lol) I'm waiting as well to see what happens with the vaccine and how things look in the warmer months.

We have booked our honeymoon for Hawaii at the beginning at April of 2021! We just made sure that if it couldn't happen because of covid we were able to get a refund or rebook without fees!
Hopefully it all works out for you and your FH!!

We’re getting married January 2nd! We are going to Sarasota, FL and renting an Airbnb. There’s a lot of options that have private heat pools and hot tubs, plus they’re close to the beach too! This way we don’t have to really interact with anyone else except to get food, which we always do takeout anyway.
We are driving to get there because we don’t feel comfortable flying right now with covid. I highly suggest staying in the US. You can always have a 2nd honeymoon that’s more extravagant later!

The Florida keys! Check out “The Bungalows” in Key Largo. It’s a bit on the pricey side, but they cater to honeymooners. It’s great during covid. You don’t have to leave the states, but feels like you’re on a tropical island. Amazing drives over all the bridges, lots of restaurants on the beach, some of the best snorkeling and you can even rent your own boats to drive around in the crystal clear water all day! We go all the time and it still amazes us that this is still considered the U.S.
