We plan to do a week or week and a half but who knows. Might wait for a couple years until we have enough money to do a whole road trip together. But idk. We’ll figure it out eventually.

It depends on your job and financial situation I think. Some people take about a week or two, I on the other hand am taking two months. We have saved up for a year and worked it out so that we were able to safely take that much time from work. I don’t think there is a predetermined time for a honeymoon contrary to popular belief. Do what’s right for you Smiley smile

FH & I plan to do 2 weeks, not including the travel time it takes to get to the destination. So in total it will end up about 2.5 weeks! I would recommend doing as much as you both can. If you can get the time off work, and afford to do 2+ weeks, I’d do it! You only get this time once in your lives. So might as well make the most of it!

We’re doing 7 nights/8 days! I’ve heard from friends that went for the same length that it was the perfect amount of time. 😊

We haven't thought about it yet, but I think it really depends on the couple and where you're going. Some people get exhausted after one week and some people can't take very much time off of work. I would just figure out how long you can do it (with work, budget, etc.) and then figure out how long you would most enjoy it.

I think it all depends on where you’re going. If you do somewhere far like Europe or Asia you’ll want more than a week. The Caribbean’s a week is probably enough unless you wish to have a longer one then that’s up to you.

Depends on where you go. In general if I’m traveling to somewhere with a big time zone difference, I want to give myself an extra day or two to acclimate, and then again for when I get back home. I also like to get my money’s worth on the plane tickets so I’ll try to stay as long as I can.

We will probably do around 10-12 days not including traveling. We are in Florida and thinking about Hawaii or the South Pacific, so travel days will put us right at 2 weeks. I would love more-but stupid work.

We are renewing our vowels in Jamaica and will be there for five days because my husband can’t miss a lot of days from work. Two days without everyone there with us and three days with our wedding party, family, and friends.

We are taking a two week honeymoon after we get married. This allows you time to celebrate being married and getting back into the normal swing of things once back home.

We’re going Monday to Saturday. We wanted a day after the wedding to relax and not stress about making a flight. We also wanted a day before having to go back to work.

We planned for 8 days & 7 nights. If we could do it over, we would have done 10-14 nights.

My fiance and I will probably be taking a week. His job offers paid vacation and unfortunately, mine doesn't. This was the most I could afford to take off. I think a week is definitely a typical time, but if you are able to take more I say go for it!!! Enjoy it! Smiley smile
