Honeymoon planning 2021

Katie, on November 24, 2020 at 3:14 PM Posted in Honeymoon 0 12
My wedding is august 2021 and just was curious to see if anyone is moving forward with normal honeymoon plans? I’m worried to start planning something or getting excited about going somewhere and then have to cancel!!!

We haven't planned a honeymoon and probably won't for a bit. We usually go out of the country every year but it's just so uncertain right now with Covid.

Where are you thinking about going?

Not even sure yet. Was hoping somewhere on a beach but it felt too much like a pipe dream to be going out of the country with everything going on. Possibly will want to stay in the US so we don’t have to worry about covid testing the day of or before the wedding just to fly somewhere

I think it'll be better by august but booking now is definitely risky. I wish Covid would just get under control 😥

As of right now, we still have plans to go to St. Lucia in February. I'm going to get in touch with them to see if they have or plan on changing any rules/regulations about travel there. If so, we'll just have to cancel or postpone for another time, I guess.

My wedding is July 2021 and we are still planning our honeymoon just with precaution. We are staying in the states and went ahead and booked our hotel but we made sure it was one that wouldn't charge if we had to cancel within 48 hours of check in, just in case. But we are not going to book/reserve anything else until we know for sure.

April ‘21 bride here. We’re planning on going to Jamaica at a Sandals resort. We’ve continued with our plans but do have a Plan B set up. He’s a firefighter & I work at a hospital so we are both front line workers so we are 1st in line to get the vaccine when it comes out in December/ January.

I'm getting married in September 2021, i was supposed to get married this past august but we had to move our wedding back. but I understand where your coming from we ended up having to go on our honeymoon in august because they wouldn't let us cancel it. With the new wedding planing we are renting a cabin and we just are planning was extra caution. We made sure we got free cancellations and we are not going by plan we are driving so we don't have to worry about the airlines. I would go ahead and start planning it just make sure you book stuff were if you have to cancel you can and you don't loss your money.

My fiance and I just booked our honeymoon for November 2021 and we are planning as normal. We did buy travel insurance just in case. I am hoping that we will be able to have our honeymoon with no issues!

We are getting married in May 2021. We took the risk and booked a cruise. Our wedding and honeymoon got canceled because of Covid (May 2020). We are just hopeful and realize there more than likely will be added precautions.

I am getting married in October 2021- we have not started looking at honeymoon information due to COVID. We want to start looking but are afraid of the same thing happening Smiley sad so we will have to wait until the summer to book something if COVID is better by that time.

We booked and paid for our honeymoon this past May and our honeymoon will be next May (2021). We’re waiting until March to see what happens before we request to postpone it!
