Honeymoon registries

Alex, on March 31, 2020 at 10:01 PM Posted in Registry 0 3
Any advice or experience with honeymoon registries? I’ve seen there were quite a few and wasn’t sure which one we should sign up with. Ideally we’re going with an Amazon registry and a honeymoon registry.

Honeymoon registries that you liked? Didn’t like? Experience? Advice?

I did the same thing! We wanted more funds lol so we did a honeymoon fund and then also an Amazon registry with a few items!

Ultimately, we ended up with Zola for a few reasons; I kind of did research to look into traveler's joy, the knot, zola, etc. all the ones out there and Zola actually had the cheapest credit card processing fee out of all of them (aside from Wanderable which also has 2.5% fee) but we went with Zola bc I liked that I could combine a registry with me wedding website (just a personal preference!) You can easily google things like 'compare best honeymoon registries' for a bit of research just to learn more about them and just understand associated feed (either you or your guests will be paying a fee to send money).

We used The Knot's honeymoon registry, and then linked in BB&B and Amazon.

The Knot's was really easy to use, doesn't charge you anything (and charged our guests a very small fee, I don't remember exactly what it was), and they make it super easy to link in your other registries. Also, they don't limit how many times you can transfer money to your bank account.

Highly recommend. People like to give to honeymoon registries, especially if you break it down into specific activities they can contribute to - it's so much nicer to think you're gifting a honeymooning couple a fancy dinner or a Disney ticket than just giving money.
