Honeymoon split between 2 different places

Kathleen, on December 31, 2017 at 9:45 AM Posted in Honeymoon 0 8
Has anyone split up their honeymoon between 2 different destinations? I am debating between Antigua and St. Lucia and wondering if it would be too much of a hassle to do both! Or if we are better off spending the entire time at 1 place. Thanks in advance for the feedback!

This is totally your call. H and I went to Iceland and stayed in two different cities over the course of the week, so we packed up our bags to change locations mid-trip. It was only a few hours drive between the cities. We tend to visit lots of places when we travel.

We’re doing Monaco and France. They’re right next door though. We might do a day trip into Italy, but I haven’t planned anything.

I thought of doing exactly that. St Lucia and Cayman Islands. The problem I found was flights ..... most make it impossible to do it . Most flights orginated out of the US so you had to fly back to Florida and then back down again.

St Lucia is beautiful - we went there for a vacation and my now-fiancé proposed while we were there. Highly recommend it!

For our honeymoon, we are doing 3 different Greek Isles plus some time in Paris. We won’t be spending large chunks of time travelling, since travel between the islands is relatively easy. We have a layover in Paris from the States to Greece that we extended on the way back to allow for a little post-Greece honeymoon time in my favorite city. I think as long as logistically it all works out and you give yourself enough time it’s doable. I can speak from experience when I say jam-packing a bunch of cities into a period of time just takes away from the experience.

We are doing a safari honeymoon in Zambia and South Africa for a total of 12 days. Regional flights are fairly cheap within continent, and we have a long time duration.
