Splurge - we want to have kids right away, so we definitely want to cherish this alone time together. I'm still a very frugal person and will do my best to save money on the extravagant trip. I've found that Groupon has some amazing deals for traveling out of country. If we can work around the dates we can even go to Scotland/Ireland for $899 - airfare included.

My FH and I started a Twine savings account for ours. We will have more than enough for our week away. But we will probably aim for a bigger trip in the summer (since we will be getting married in December).

We decided to “Save” compared to what we would’ve liked to do. We wanted to Honeymoon in Greece however we decided to save that for an anniversary trip and are cruising to Mexico instead! I’m very excited 😆

Splurge-ish lol I'm super savvy at finding and planning awesome vacations. With that being said it's our honeymoon so I feel the idea of splurging is warranted. Super excited for 8 days in Los Cabos!

(Eventual) semi-splurge. Our honeymoon is 7 months post wedding bc that it the only time we can line up at least a week off with our call schedules. We are thinking a few days in Rome and a few days in Sardinia.

Not really planning official honeymoon. We try to get away fairly often for a few days and we have a Euro trip planned on May (3 months after the wedding) to visit some family. We may check “honeymoon” on hotel reservation for that complementary bottle of wine on a trip or two 😉

Same! Everyone acted like we were so bizarre for not having one! We may go somewhere out west next year but that's just a vacation. No need to spend a huge amount of money after we just spent so much on our wedding already. I couldn't imagine being stressed at the wedding and then knowing I wouldn't be back to normal life for another one to two weeks. Sleeping in my own bed after my wedding and getting back to normal life was the best thing we did for ourselves.

Well, my FH is deploying next year, so we’re going to be mindful of our spending and look for reasonable prices, but we will splurge a little bit! Nothing too crazy - we’ll go on a cruise and have a blast together ❤️❤️❤️

I was worried about paying for a full-on honeymoon right after the wedding, so we decided to save and are doing a "budget" trip to Maui by renting a cheap condo for a few days. Then, we'll do a more more traditional 2-week honeymoon to celebrate our 6 month anniversary that we're hoping to pay for with our wedding registry (since we've lived together for a long time, we're just doing a honeymoon registry). This way, we're getting the best of both worlds without breaking the bank!

My fiancé and I are hoping to save and do something more local right after our wedding and plan an amazing vacation later on in the year.

Splurge and Save! We saved by choosing an overall low cost destination (Belize) and we are splurging on the room level we chose (plunge pool suite). Also we splurged with first class flights (only $200 extra each). It’s all about balance and what you are comfortable with spending.

Splurge-ish. We decided on Fort Lauderdale, FL as it’s beautiful, cheap to fly to, but we can stay right on the water. We plan on scuba diving in the Keys and spending a day in Miami but are only staying a few days to come home for our family canoe trip!

We're saving and doing no honeymoon right away. We are trying to buy a house. We figured we could do a honeymoon at our 1yr.

Splurge. We are going to Jamaica and were gonna do 5 nights but instead we are doing 7, got an ocean front room and set up some cool excursions for while we're on the island.
