Honeymoon survival kit- gasx, pepto etc...,

Kelly H, on November 8, 2013 at 5:35 AM Posted in Honeymoon 0 12

I didn't think my honeymoon would include an emergency run to the pharmacy for gas-x. So don't forget to take a few stomach cures along. This may not be a pretty subject but chances are you will be eating a lot of different types of food. Let there beeno gas on your honeymoon. :-)

What is in or will be in your survival kit?

Things that I wish I had packed that we had to find in Italy at la farmacia...

    - Blister Pads

    - Dramamine

    - Cough Drops

    - Sinus Congestion Medicine

I practically lived off of Dramamine the entire trip because apparently, my stomach doesn't take well to flying...or riding a train...or a bus...or anything else that I'm not physically driving myself anymore...LOL Smiley winking

Mrs. Katie J, I am in the same predicament. I get motion sickness in the waves at the beach for crying out loud. I have been thinking about seeing a dr because it's really severe for me.

    Thanks for the tips!

Good to remember, thanks! I just have to make sure to remember to bring allergy meds. Both FH and I have terrible allergies.

FH and I are walking pharmacies. It is not uncommon for between the two of us to be carrying with us: excedrine migraine, Advil, Imodium (sorry), Zantac, gas-x, benedryl, and Advil cold and sinus. We will probably go buy everything from CVS before we go. Haha!!

    Good thinking!

When my sister got married and I was the MOH & I put together a honeymoon basket as a gift for her bridal shower (included for her and FH: magazines for the plane, 2 new plush beach towels, book of Jamaica (that's where they went), flip flops, sunscreen, aloe gel, stuff like that....had I thought of some advil, dramamine, pepto that would have been genius!!!!!

I can't travel anywhere without my motion sickness patches. A lot more effective and last longer than Dram.

If you are stranded somewhere and have a cold/flu you can eat garlic as a last resort, but if you have a tummy bug you will want to bring your own medicine!!
