Honeymoon the day after your wedding?

We are leaving the next morning. Call us crazy but we can't wait to be on the beach in Jamaica!!

We're leaving 2 days later because my mom is bound and determined to have a family reunion pool day the day after the wedding. LOL. (She's paying, so I'm down with it)

We couldn't imagine getting all the last minute stuff done the week of the wedding AND shopping and packing for our honeymoon. So we stayed at a hotel the night of the wedding, took off work Monday to relax. Worked Tues, Wed, and Thur, shopping and packing in the evenings. Left on our honeymoon Friday. No regrets.

Day of for us. We combined wedding and honeymoon on purpose though. If we hadn't I absolutely would have waited a few days between.

We're having a saturday afternoon wedding and leaving for our honeymoon Sunday morning (3 hour drive to Galveston for our cruise).

We're getting married on the Saturday and leave Monday morning for our honeymoon. The airport is only 30 minutes away from home

FH and I have plans to leave right after the ceremony/reception. We only plan to drive a few hours or until we've crossed the Stateline and then spend the night in a hotel before continuing the rest of the way the next morning and I can drive the rest of the way. I'm awesome on very little sleep. Him? Not so much.

I'll actually just be quitting my job to prepare for my (hopefully) last semester of school that week before the wedding so I can focus on packing our stuff and getting last minute stuff together.

We are leaving the next day.. Our honeymoon / flight is paid for by my cousin. We aren't doing anything super crazy, so we are staying at a resort that my cousin has a time share in . They are also going haha, mainly because the week we are staying at the resort is discount week and she couldn't pass up the deal for her family.. She did put us in different buildings though so we didn't have to see them much at all on our honeymoon. lol. I'd rather use my day off/PTO for Monday sitting by a pool with a drink in my hand than on a plane. We can rest by in our suite

I wish. Ours isn't until December 17th. DH is in nursing school and unable to go until after the semester.

We left the day after the wedding. We actually got up pretty early (we are morning people) and headed straight for the beach! But we haven't had a vacation all year so we were eager to go.

We waited until the following Saturday. We could only get a direct flight for the HM on Saturdays. I was a little upset we had to wait a week at first, but it ended up being great. Gave us a little time to come down from the wedding high and then we still had something to look forward to for a week.

We left the day after with no problem.

It depends on how busy you think you'll be the week of. I had finished everything early so I was going to bed on time and not stressed. We were up until 3am or so after the wedding and woke up at 8am to have breakfast with family before heading to the airport

We are leaving the day after. Our wedding is a friday night and we are going to fly out to vegas saturday morning. We were originally going to wait until our semester break to go on a honeymoon but my boss approved my leave so we are turning all of our assignments in early and taking a mini moon from saturday to wednesday.

We are going to wait a day or two. Just so we don't feel rushed having everything ready to go before the wedding. Plus I would have too much anxiety and would think about if I had everything ready during the wedding. And we have a fur baby so we have to make sure to take her to my parents first since my mom had claimed ownership of her while we are gone.

We left the day after, but our wedding was low key, so we were in bed and asleep by 11, at the latest. It was a nice way to relax after all the stress and excitement of the wedding, but I really wish we'd left LATE Sunday, so we could have had brunch with all our friends and family who were still in town.

We're leaving the day after, but we only have a less than 2 hour drive from our hotel/venue to the port our cruise leaves from.

We're leaving Tuesday after our wedding. Flights were cheaper and I self schedule at work working 3, 12 hour shifts so I'm not missing. Any extra work. He works for his best friend and it's no problem to take off.
