When do you plan on going on honeymoon? Right After, A few days after , or weeks after wedding?

We are waiting 10 days. The cruise we wanted was cheaper on that date, plus the thought of leaving the next morning stressed me out. I'd rather have a couple days to unwind and take my time to pack.

We plan on leaving the next day, but it won't be until later at night since we will have a red eye flight.

We got married on a Saturday night and left on Monday morning... It was ideal because we had time to pack up our suite/decorations etc, see some friends and family, and get home to rest and unpack/repack

Ours is two weeks later. That gives us a chance to continue to visit with out of town family, tie up loose ends after the wedding, and relax a bit. (We needed to take the dog to the boarder, see our guests off, take my youngest to her dad’s, etc, and I didn’t want to rely on out of town family to handle all that.)

I think you pick whatever works best for your situation. There is no wrong answer here.

Our wedding is on a Saturday and we’re leaving early Tuesday morning. I wanted to spend Sunday with our friends that will be in town and we’ll use Monday to pack.

We got married on Sunday, and left for our honeymoon Tuesday morning. It felt a bit rushed... at the time I remember wishing we had one more day at home... but also it was nice to still be in the blissful wedding bubble so no regrets Smiley smile

We are getting married in April and going on our honeymoon in June. FH is a teacher so it made more sense to wait until school is out.

We're getting married on a Saturday, planning on leaving on Tuesday or Wednesday as it is cheaper to fly on those days. We didn't want to leave right away either as we would probably be tired from the wedding and also have to return some rentals the next. We have family/friends also visiting from out of state/country so we want to spend some time with them before they leave.
