Honeymoon under 25

Hey everyone! My fiance and I are trying to plan our honeymoon to somewhere in Florida, on a beach. We've looked at mostly places on the Gulf Coast. The problem is, for everywhere we've seen, you have to be at least 25 to rent. We will be 21 and 22 when we get married...is there a way around this, or do resorts/condos make exceptions. I understand why the policies are in place, but it makes it difficult for younger folks like us!

    Can you have one of your parents book it with their name and info? I think we did that once and it ended up fine.

    I would maybe call one of the places you are interested in and ask. I wouldn't have it booked under someone else's name, as hotels typically ask for a form of identification and a credit card when checking in, at least in my experience. So they may not actually give you the room without that person present.

    Have you looked into airbnb or vrbo? I think their age limit is only 18.

    I would try calling the resort. They may allow you to book but with a higher deposit.

    Be careful with this. A lot of AirBnbs and VRBOs or just vacation rentals IN GENERAL prevent large events.

    I live in SWFL on the Gulf Coast, I'm not sure where you're trying to stay that requires you to be 25? Fort Myers Beach is fun, Sanibel and Captiva are beautiful.
