It was between Italy and Spain for us. We ultimately decided on Italy because a). we LOVE italian food, b). I've always wanted to go to the Amalfi coast and c). to do beachfront in Spain was significantly more then beachfront in Italy

We're headed to Ireland because we wanted to do more than sit on a beach and drink rum lol Actually, I've never left the country and Ireland is a place we've both always wanted to visit! I can't wait for our road trip through the country!

Tahiti and New Zealand. We have never been to either country before and want the following from our honeymoon: R&R on the beach for a few days, road tripping, hiking, adventuring and wine tasting.

We ended up deciding on a cruise. I have food allergies (it’s the worst) and traveling most places is so hard! The cruise will be able to accommodate my allergies so I don’t have to cook the whole time. Our other option was Disney, but we decided we didn’t want the theme park thing for our honeymoon.

We chose a cruise to Mexico. We chose this because we already have to fly to our wedding. The cruise ship is leaving from out of Houston (where we live) so we didn't have to buy another plane ticket and the food is all inclusive...save money to a beautiful location, why not?! Lol

We're going to Florida! It's only a few hours' drive from where we live, plus we wanted somewhere beachy and somewhat warm

We’ve narrowed it down to somewhere in South America. We wanted somewhere that had both the relaxing beach and cultural adventures. The flight wasn’t too bad either. My FH can’t handle sitting on a plane for 15+ hours (which crossed out A LOT of places).

Aruba. We chose Aruba because we wanted a relaxing Caribbean vacation. Our honeymoon is in october so we had to be careful of hurricane season. Aruba is beautiful and typically safe from hurricanes so that is why we chose it

He booked us ten nights at Atlantis Bahamas! He got an amazing deal as a rewards member on Marriott.com. At the time, they were running a promotion that if you booked four nights using your Marriott points as payment, the fifth night was free! His brother and his parents chipped in some of their points as a wedding gift and he booked eight nights plus two nights free! It was amazing!!!

Atlantis is huge! We stayed at The Cove, which is one of the hotels within the resort property. He added a Honeymoon Package.

    Our package included:

Couples Massage (50 minutes for 2 at Mandara Spa, gratuity not included)

    Champagne & Strawberries (in-room delivery)

Honeymoon Gift (a locally made bath set)

During our stay, we took a guided tour of Nassau with Bowcar Rentals, swam with dolphins at Dolphin Cay, saw ABBA Revisited in the Atlantis Theatre and ate at Chopstix, Cafe Martinique and the Bahamian Club. We also ate at some casual restaurants and I documented a new rum-based drink each day. (Check out https://www.instagram.com/iamaveronica/ to see the drinks.) Yes, there are four Starbucks locations at Atlantis.

We took almost 2,000 photos, combined!

*The champagne and strawberries would have been available to us upon check in, but there had been an issue booking it prior to our arrival. DH had booked our stay through marriott.com and added the package on through atlantisbahamas.com. They told him that because it was two separate websites, they had to cancel it and told him that it could be added back on at check-in. Of course, when we checked in, they said it had to be done prior to our arrival. Fortunately, the concierge and wedding department were able to work it out and we were able to add it back on after we checked in. If you want to book a honeymoon package, my advice to you all is to book your honeymoon via atlantisbahamas.com and then add on one of the packages from https://www.atlantisbahamas.com/celebrations/honeymoons. This will save you a check-in headache.

Charleston, SC. We chose here because it is a very romantic town and will not be packed with tourist in the fall. There are lovely beaches and really great food options. It was also a destination well under our budget so we really get to go all out with the activities (horseback riding on the beach, private sails, carriage rides).

We wanted a romantic location that wouldn't be crowded.

We're trying to find cheap fun for our honeymoon. I think we might drive down to Florida and rent an Air Bnb. Nice beach houses or cottages on the ocean range from $80+ a night.

We’re going on a cruise from NY to Florida, and two parts of Bahamas. My Fh and I went on a cruise last year and loved it (it was my first, his 8th). We tossed between a cruise, Ireland/ England, and Myrtle beach. Myrtle beach b/c his family has a condo down there and we love it there (but we go every year anyway!). Ireland/ England b/c he has family there and loves it and because it’s a bucket list item for me (but we would be staying with his family there and who wants to spend their honeymoon with relatives?). And the cruise because we love the all inclusive and easy way of cruises plus I want to swim with stingrays again (but it was more expensive). Then his family said that they would pay for a good portion of we chose the cruise, so cruise it is!

We will be going to St. Lucia for our honeymoon. My mother is paying for it and it's an all inclusive resort which will be great! My mother is going through Sandals Resorts. FH and I had decided St. Lucia because it just seemed like a lot of fun and FH fell in love with one of their rooms at the Resort.

What's cool about St. Lucia is that although we will be staying at one hotel, we would be able to go to the other 2 locations and explore whatever amenities they have as well such as activities, the restaurants, etc. So it just seems like you get more bang for your buck. We will be staying there for a week!

We’re going to Aruba! We picked it because we wanted a beach and it was important to my boo that we go somewhere with a low travel warning. It’s not a big all inclusive area, but there’s a bunch of local places that are reasonably priced and we can do something different every day.

We’re going to Providenciales, Turks & Caicos for 8 days/7 nights! I just really wanted to go somewhere international, and FH wanted to go somewhere warm with a nice beach. I read a few blogs from some of my favorite travel bloggers about Turks & Caicos. Everyone said it’s amazing! The water is turquoise & clear, and Grace Bay Beach is consistently ranked the top beach in the world!

We decided on a Caribbean cruise. The decision was based on me always imagining a tropical honeymoon, as well as the price.

My fiance and I chose a trip to Greece because of how much we enjoy the culture and it was on both of our bucket lists when we met. Also, from what we have been told by family that has already been there, the hospitality is outstanding!
