Maui is small, peaceful, with a few very nice hiking trail. Road to Hana was so beautiful we drive twice, because there are quite a few beautiful stops to visit. We went to the mountain top at 4am to see the sun rise. It’s chilly but beautiful and romantic. It soooo peaceful I can imagine retiring there. I am sick of cities 🤣

Kauai has a very beautiful hiking trail, but this one is very famous and you have to enter a lottery and hope you win it, and pay on top of it, but IT’s WORTH IT! And you have to sail to see the view of “jurassic park spots” and also splurge on the helicopter ride! It’s just whoaaaa —-> just a tip, take motion sickness medication an hour before if you think you might be sick up there. It’s so no fun when someone threw up in helicopter. It’s tiny space!
Bug Island has the magical Volcano national park, which is very recommended. Our flight there supposed to be 2 weeks ago, but we had to cancel it do to covid and got flight voucher valid for a year.
Oahu has all, people, shops, nightlife, beach, many nice restaurants, trails. Oh, the “stairway to heaven is now closed” it a shame. It’s gorgeous, but they have no fund to repair the trail, so it became dangerous for hikers now.
It’s depend on what you prefer. Either one, Hawaii is beautiful!
Have fun and enjoy your honeymoon!🥂

Thank you so much! We want to see all the islands, and I most definitely want to see the Pearl Harbor museum. How long would you suggest for that?

I've only been to Maui but totally can't complain haha. It was absolutely incredible. Wailea beach is the most beautiful place in the whole world!

Been to them all. Kauai is a no brainer for a honeymoon. Maui would be second in my opinion

I feel like Maui feels most like how I imagined Hawaii to be, and is my favorite. Our fam found Oahu to be kind of gross and dirty in a lot of places honestly, although I'm sure some areas are nice. To see ALL the islands on one trip legit I would take a month lol

I did a Hawaiian cruise and stayed an extra 3 nights in Honolulu. All of the islands were beautiful, but I’d probably stay away from Honolulu because there are A LOT of people on that island and it was very crowded when I went. I think Maui is a wonderful honeymoon destination!!!

Oahu and Maui are both very beautiful! I would say Maui is the better honeymoon destination out of the two.
But Kaui was the best vacation I have ever been on, it was so peaceful, the land was absolutely beautiful, and there are so many hidden beaches to discover! We hiked for awhile and found a place called “secret beach” where the waves were over 10 feet tall and there were lava rocks everywhere ... it was the most beautiful experience!

I went to Kauai and Oahu! I definitely think the bigger island is better if you want more to do and more nightlife but the smaller islands are better for if you just want more of a relaxing slower vibe. Anyway in Kauai they have this specialty river tubing! That was so fun.

Kauai is my favorite island, rent a house there in one of the small towns and talk to the neighbors, and people working in the stores they will give you the lowdown on where to go, and what to buy that is in season. Foodland the local grocery store chain has a large selection of poke that I practically lived on while there last time. If he is still there try Keo's Huli Huli Chicken, it is a traditional local dish that this one guy cooks following the original recipe.
