Are you far from Atlantic City? It’s nothing huge but they have plenty to do. You could also try the poconos

Depending on why you want to do in Virginia, there are so many options.
For example, my fiancé and I took a trip up to the Shenandoah mountains and rented a cabin from VRBO (?) We went hiking and visited a winery/distillery and had a nice unplugged weekend.
There’s the insane number of beaches. All the different historical places to visit. I’ve also done a River cruise and winery tour up the tappahannock.
It just really depends on what you’re looking to do.
My fiancé and I are taking a cruise to the Bahamas out of Baltimore, so long as Carnival doesn’t cancel it.

There's Hilton Head Island, SC. I used to go there all the time as a kid - it's Disney-fied, now, but there's still lots of nature trails, golfing, beaches, great restaurants, and it's more of a laid-back vibe.

There's the Outer Banks, NC... the mountains...

What do you like to do?

Afton, VA (if you like wineries and Mountains). Asheville, NC. Charleston, SC. Washington, DC (not super romantic, but a lot to do). The northern or southern Outer Banks of NC.

We are about 5 hours away. We did decide on two places to go for our Honeymoon. Chincoteague and Natural Bridge area. But this idea is something to keep in mind for future trips
