Changing plans. From Hawaii to Washington
Going 7 months after the wedding for about a week. So excited to finish wedding planning and start honeymoon planning.

How long are you waiting or are you going right after the wedding? And where are you headed ?

Nice! I’ve never been to Washington but I heard it’s nice. We’re going the same week. We just want to get it out the way and relax. It’s been a long planning process.

We are definitely a couple who likes to celebrate things as much as possible, and our honeymoon will be no different LOL We are having a destination wedding, and will be staying several days after the ceremony as a mini-moon. We are then going to take an official honeymoon trip on our one year anniversary. Then a month touring Europe for our 5 year anniversary.

Congrats! We got married in April, and will be going on our honeymoon in September - a few days in Florida and then a 8 day cruise to the Western Caribbean. We initially wanted to go right after the wedding, but, due to our work schedules, we decided to just take a couple of days off and wait a few months. And I’m glad we waited a bit, as we didn’t feel rushed, could spend more time with family and friends that traveled to our wedding, and now we have something to look forward to in the months after our wedding. We also had more time to plan and save for it.

Greece was our mutual destination for our honeymoon. We wanted to go there this spring/summer but with the debacle with the airport overseas, we decided to put our honeymoon plans on hold.
Then my husband suggested that we look into another destination instead of pushing it back another year. Sooo… we’re going to St. Lucia!!! With the open bedroom with a private pool and the view of the mountains. It’ll be 11 months after the wedding but will be worth the wait.

We are getting married in September, and haven’t planned a honeymoon yet. We opted to wait just because of finances, but I’m glad to see not everyone goes right after the wedding!
