Honeymoons with a mix of beach and culture?

We picked the Andalusia region of Spain for the same reason.

That was exactly our criteria! We are going to Spain- Barcelona, San Sebastián, and the Canary Islands.

Jamaica was great and the beaches were so beautiful and relaxing!!! Will definitely visit again in the near future.

Check out the Adriatic Rivera in Italy, great beaches and not far from Venice .

My immediate thought was a destination cruise that stops at various beachy ports. You get your beaches and FH gets adventure! Then again, you may not get as much beach as you'd like if you're off doing excursions.

I vote for Greece! Stunning beaches and so much cultural significance! Plus their economy is suffering, so they could really use your tourist dollars and you would enjoy increased buying power.

This is like a dream travel thread. I'd go to Italy, Ireland, and England. If I was fortunate enough to get a second bite of the apple, I'd explore South America, Japan, China, and Africa.

We went to sorento In Italy, its fab its in the coast and there is loads to see near there.

I've been wanting to go on a Mediterranean cruise. Some people I work with went (separately) earlier this year and they both said it was the best way to explore the area.

We are going to Barcelona for this exact reason- I wanted beach, but FH likes exploring and history. Some other thoughts to echo other posters- southern Spain, Portugal (Agarve region), Greece (could fly to Athens then island hop), Croatia. I also HIGHLY suggest the Azores.
