Hooded eyes and makeup trial

Hi all, i am a tad indecisive when it comes to bridal makeup because with my eye shape, the eyeshadow disappears quite a bit. I did a softer makeup trial recently and now i am going to a second place to try something different to see if I like more glam. I just feel like the soft makeup is beautiful, but the beauty of it disappears a little. Anyone else with hooded eyes feeling a little bit indecisive with their makeup? I don’t usually wear much anyways. Maybe ill have to update with a picture of the glam to compare haha. I would love to hear your thoughts, tips, or tricks on what might “pop” on my eye shape.Hooded eyes and makeup trial 1

    I was just complaining about my hooded eyes. YES. I struggle with getting professional makeup because for me when I look at myself a lot of it disappears and then I just feel like ahhhh what did I even pay for? But honestly, your trial looks lovely. And the lashes are great for your eye shape. Def. try the glam look but look at the photos and do what is best for your eye shape. Sometimes less is more and more can make our eyes even smaller.

    I don’t, it was my first time ever getting makeup done and I was so nervous lol thank you though! I do get them threaded for the shape.

    I think you look beautiful and this makeup is soft and elegant. As someone who also has the hooded eye struggle your eyes look great here! I’d love to see the glam pic too. I say go with whatever makes you feel good!

    I’m not sure what you mean by the term hooded eyes but I do know your make up looks flawless! And I do agree that less is more. I do prefer the softer look than the glam look.

    Thank you! I appreciate that. By hooded eyes i mean that when my eyes are opened fully you cant see much of my eyelid. I think I will like the soft look too but I am excited to try something different today Smiley smile

    I think the soft look is definitely a strong contender! A little more blush in a pink tone might bring out the pink in your eyeshadow a bit. My eyes are similar, and when I want a bolder look or to add more color, I usually opt for a dark or bright lip color. I'd love to see the glam look to compare!

    Hi thank you for your response! I just got back from my glam appointment and at first it felt like a little too much. She uses regular foundation instead of airbrush but I think I am really leaning toward glam. A little out of my comfort zone but I think it translates to pictures very well!     Glam works out really well. You might consider eye lid tape to see if you like it.

    You're so beautiful! Either looks are nice, maybe you could do something between the looks of those two. Maybe try the first look but add a thin line of eyeliner on your eyelids.
