Hospitality Baskets?

Heather, on April 17, 2012 at 7:40 PM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 6

My FH and I had a meeting lastnight with our venue to go oer our menu, linen choices etc. She gave me a little check list on stuff that needs to be dropped off a few days prior to our wedding. She had mentioned having "hospitality baskets" are recommended. I'm a bit confused on what she meant by that. Can someone help me please.

She might be suggesting "bathroom baskets" with little things like advil, hair ties, feminine products, mouth wash, etc. There are some lists floating around

It sounds as though they are referring to bathroom baskets, we are having them also. I'm putting, mints, gum, tums, advil, tyenol, small sewing kit, lint remover, saftey pins, hair spray, nail file....etc

I would guess bathroom baskets. But a small chance they could have been talking about welcome bags too if you are doing those.....

Like others have stated, the hospitality baskets are basically baskets that are placed in the bathrooms filled with things for you as well as the wedding guests. They can basically be as small or big as you want.

I do remember a bride on here complaining that guests 'stole' items out of the basket. Don't expect to have items left over after the night has ended. Going to the dollar store & spending as less as possible would be the best way to go IMO! :o)

A great list to go off of: http://wiki.weddingbee.com/Bathroom_basket
