Hey Heather! I’m sorry that you are feeling so worried about this.

Is your ceremony being held outside also?

I would definitely recommend having plenty of water readily available for your guests at all times throughout your day, you certainly don’t want any of your guests to become dehydrated.

I came across a great DIY idea on Pinterest for an outdoor wedding where you can turn your wedding program into fans which are given to each guest. They can be left in a box for each guest to collect before they take their seat, or they can be left on each chair to ensure that every guest gets one. I’ve added a couple of photos below from Pinterest to explain how this would look.

You could also look into buying a number of parasols so that your guests can stay in the shade, this could be a great idea, especially for older guests and guests with small children who want to start out of the direct sun.

I think we have the same wedding date ... Smiley smile

Like the previous poster mentioned, you can provide fans/parasols to cool down your guests. Also having some kind of “sun relief” basket with sunscreen, hand sanitizer, facial sprays, etc would be really nice to have!

I just had mine in Costa Rica and it was super hot. I put little hand fans out for everyone, and they got used a lot. I bought them on Amazon, it was $42 for 100 fans. I dipped the ends of them in fabric die so they matched the decore. They were the most-used prop.
