Long story short I am getting married in Salem on June 12, 2020. Unfortunately the hotel I really like only has 20 rooms available because of a convention going on and we will have to supplement with another nearby hotel. The other hotel is clean and basic - how important is the fanciness of a hotel when it comes to a wedding?? Does it take away from the actual venue/experience if it isn't anything special?

Any ideas on an after party in Salem/Beverly/Danvers?

I think peoples opinions on the quality of a hotel room would change from person to person.
Personally, I don’t mind how fancy the hotel is, I just need somewhere to sleep that night! The way I see it is that I will hardly spend any time in the room. As long as it’s clean and safe, I’m happy! As long as the price reflects the hotel, I wouldn't feel like it took from my experience.

What kind of a space would you like for the after party? Bar, restaurants, etc. Do you want somewhere that caters? How many guests will be invited?
