I just wanted to share pictures of the gift bags I made for our guests. It was very cheap and easy. I have seen several posts about to do them or not to do them. I bought the bags from Wal-Mart and found these cute starfish at Michael's. I hot glued the starfish to the front of the bag with no problems. I included a bunch of different things like hand sanitizer, advil, beef jerky, travel size mouthwash, Trolli sour gummy worms, breakfast bars, etc. All of our guests loved the bags and everything that was in them. They really appreciated the note that was included.

@SunshineJenn I wasn't sure how well the starfish would hold, but they did great. I hot glued the legs from the bottom to the top and when I placed them on the bag I stuck my hand inside the bag to push the bag up at the same time I was pressing the starfish to make sure it sealed (I hope that makes sense). I wrapped the bags in bubble wrap and put them in my carry on to make sure they would not get damaged. I brought 2 rolls of curling ribbon and scissors (those were in my checked bag) with me to assemble them when I got there. I added everything inside and then stuffed with tissue paper. I made sure the tissue paper had a ridge that would catch the corner of the Welcome card so they would not drop down into the bag. I tied the ribbon and curled the ends just to give it an extra touch. It took me maybe 20 minutes to get everything assembled.

Side note: I went to Sam's and bought a few things in bulk because it was cheaper to buy it and split it between the bags vs purchasing individually.
