Hotel or Airbnb for night before/ wedding night accommodations advice?

I'm doin research for room blocks. some say go with the traditional hotel others say airbnb is easier

anyone had experience with one or the other with both?

I think this depends entirely on what's available in your area! For us, it made way more sense to do a room block but with one suite for the bridesmaids.
I would recommend setting up a block but to not expect everyone to use it. We set up a block with exactly enough rooms for all our guests, but I know at least 3 couples are not using the block - 2 are doing Airbnbs and 1 is doing a different hotel! You won't be able to set up Airbnbs for your guests ahead of time, so that's where the convenience of the block comes in.
If you're looking specifically for a place for your wedding party to stay, a large Airbnb that can accommodate all of you could be super fun!!
