Household sort?

Cherie, on February 19, 2022 at 9:29 AM Posted in Account Support 0 4

Is there a way to count households?? I spent all this time linking families together, but now I have to go through by hand to count households to see how many invitations I need.

I made a spreadsheet and listed everyone in the household on the same line.

I moved to The Knot for that and put households together. Much easier.

GoogleSheets in their wedding planning template has a guest list page. List couples and families at each address. For example: One couple lives together but they may have adult kids and underage kids, with the adult kids living elsewhere. The adult kids get their own invitations sent to their residences and the couple would get one addressed to them, with or without their minor (under 18) children.

Anyone 18+ is considered their own head of household. But a married/engaged/cohabitating couple is listed together as one group.

I was just really hoping I didn’t have to use something else and write all those people in again.
