My FH and I are looking for engagement locations near the Houston area. Any suggestions? Our photographers told us a few places but we feel like everyone goes there all the time. Hernan Park, Japanese Gardens.. We would like something unique and different. Indoors/outdoors. (Preferably outdoors, I love nature) 💚
We have to set a date for the session but don’t know where we want to go yet...Thanks in advance!

Hey Lucy! It’s great to have you in the WeddingWire community!
What type of engagement photos are you hoping to have? There are so many different locations that result in such different photos. Are there are any locations around Houston that are special to you and your FH? It would be great if you felt a connection to the spot you decide to take your photos. It would make them even more precious to you in years to come.
If you love nature, you could check out some national parks in your vicinity. I know you want somewhere a little off the beaten track but if you discuss this with your photographer, they will definitely be able to frame your photos so that passersby will not be in your photos.
