How and when did you meet your significant other?

We met on OKCupid. actually. It was quite rare to find someone from the same city as me--most are from the Pittsburgh area, not many of the suburbs--and he just happened to be handsome, and his profile was to my liking, so I messaged him! Turns out, his older brother graduated high school with me! I knew his brother somewhat well as we had many classes together, so it was an odd coincidence.

We officially met "in real life" on September 28th, 2014.

We called it official October 4th, 2014.

He proposed October 8th, 2016.

We're getting married October 5th, 2018.

We met working at Target, seven years ago.

We met online, he took me out for lunch and then to an abandoned psychiatric hospital near our houses. I knew he was the one the moment we pulled up lol. Two dates after that we were "official", 5 days after that I told him I loved him, 2 years later we bought our house and adopted our dog. We're 2 months from the wedding on Sunday! I can't wait to marry him!

I met FH nearly 5 years ago when he transferred to my college. We started dating a year after we met and got engaged on our 3 year anniversary.

We met online, POF! I sent a quick flirt, wink... He didn't respond...hmm. I was annoyed...so I did it again... This time he did. He didn't want to have a long distance relationship so he didn't respond the first time. Curiosity got him on my second try.
We talked on line for a week or so, then for another couple of weeks on the phone. Our conversations were marathons, hours at a time!!
After a little over a month we met. He brought me a dozen roses and a huge Teddy bear! He was so nervous and shaky, hoping I would like him in person.
He fell in love very fast. It scared me to much. I broke it off for several months and realized how much I missed him. Without my even realizing it I had fallen in love with him.
Now I had to get the courage to call him. I wasn't sure if he would even answer! He did, he was guarded at first.
We started dating again and it was full speed ahead. It's been over two years now. We got engaged on February 15, 2018 and we're getting married June 15, 2019!
I'm so glad he responded to my flirt, answered my call, and asked me to marry him!
I love him so much! I'm blessed!

We met on POF March 2017- we went to the same university but never actually met before then- and we're getting married in 17 days

We worked on the same floor but he was in a different group. There was a guy in his row that always had lindor truffles in his top drawer so I'd always sneak over to grab one. FH apparently would try to talk to me but I'm super shy so I didn't even realize he was talking to me. Then a few months later my supervisor lost her son who is my age so I would go in her cube to help her get through the day and cheer her up. FH sat close to her cube(like almost next to it) so he'd come in when I was in there and start picking on me to be funny to make her laugh.

Then one day I was home and bored and scrolling through Tinder and saw his picture and swiped right and boom it was a match. I freaked out thinking he'd think I was weird so I messaged hey we are a match lol. Next thing I knew we were going on a date and here we are!

We met online a month after his brother interviewed me for my job. I had no idea that was his brother until 3 months later.

We met online in April last year. The kicker is I barely signed up, had verbiage on my profile page, but no pictures! He initiated contact based on my content. 😊

After a week of chatting online and texting, we met up at a comic book store, had lunch, which then turned into dinner. Our first date was 9 hours long. I texted my BFF that evening that I had thoughts of marriage.

We had our second date one week later - he brought up marriage.

We got married a year from our first date, and it’s been pure bliss since we met.

He asked for my parents’ blessing on Christmas Eve and we decided that’s when we were engaged. No actual proposal lol. We got married June 29th, so it’s been just over a month.

Long story short:
He stalked me on Facebook for two months. I called him out and told him to show his face. We met. We went on a date. Two and a half weeks later, we were dating LOL

My FH and I met on World of Warcraft about 6 years ago but didn't meet in person until 2 years ago when he came to live with me for a bit (I'm in Texas, he was from California). Almost 1 year ago he moved here.

We went to the same church as kids. We grew up together. We started to date when we were young, and when his family moved away, we broke up. We both moved on. And we both ended up single. He packed up and moved back to our home town. When he got back, he took me out to tell me he never stopped loving me. We've been inseparable since. We're getting married next year. I met my soulmate when I was 2.

We met 7 years ago during the summer before our senior year at a bonfire to kick off summer break. He told me to sit on his lap when I was looking for a seat lol He was and is still forward 😂 we started dating officially 6 months later and have been together since!
