How and when did you meet your significant other?

Met thru a mutual friend. Texted for a week and then he said we should meet. Met for the first time and had a 8 hr first date. The very next day had our second date which was also 8 hrs long. We were just so compatible and neither of us wanted to leave. Weve basically been inseperable every since. That was 7/29/2016. Our wedding is 3/23/19. So glad to have found my soulmate.

We met our junior year of high school he was actually dating an ex friend of mine who I hadn't talked to in a few years. She was trying to mend things and she asked me to meet her boyfriend. I actually got really close to his brother (as a best friend) while fh was still dating her. They broke up and we started hanging out for the rest of the school year. By the end of the school year he asked me to be his gf. That was June 25, 2003. Fast forward to now, we have 4 kids, 4 fur babies, and will be getting married April 6, 2019. 😊😊

I am in the sister sorority to his fraternity (Zeta Phi Beta and Phi Beta Sigma) so that is how we officially met.

I met him January 2012..walking doen the stairs in our college student center lol a mutual friend of ours introduced us bc he was interested (I wasn’t lol) & we went our separate ways. I saw him again abt a month later at a club & ended up giving him my number.

It doesn't start as the most romantic, we met on Tinder, I had just gotten out of an absolutely horrid relationship and was skittish about getting back into the dating pool for the first time in 8 years (since high school actually) and we talked for about 3 weeks before planning on going on a date. A date that I ended up freaking out and cancelling on him since I was nervous about dating again, his response was "well can we keep talking?" and of course I said yes. The next week I was having a BAD BAD day at work that also included a lack of coffee, and he asked me if I wanted him to bring me starbucks to work, and well the rest is history, we ended up finally going on a date about a week later, that he didn't even mind that I met up with him just after my self defense class, wet hair and make up free. He's been extremely patient and understanding to my fears and quirks, and been there for me when I need him the most, some thing that I strive to be for him as well.

We met online in 2015, got engaged in 2015, got married in 2017.

FH and I met at our community college 7 years ago. He left a year before I did, and our contact was kind of minimal for about 3 years. One day, we just started talking more often, and about a year later he asked me out. That was almost 2 years ago, and we've been engaged for 4 months now.

Didnt tell him I was going to take some time or anything just stopped talking to him and disappeared. He was the first one to find out about my brother. Even before family. We talked for another couple weeks then decided to meet for coffee. It went horrible lol. All I did was giggle like an idiot. Couldn't form a coherent sentence lol. I didnt think I would hear from him ever again. And again he impressed me again and a couple hours later asked me to the movies. Best first date of my life. We didnt go home until 2am. Seriously best date ever. And I actually managed to talk to him lol.

We met on OkCupid! He was actually the first person to message me on there. I just thought he was the sweetest person in the world based on his message. We texted for a few weeks and had our first date on 05/08/2012. I was nervous because I had never done online dating, but he was such a gentleman and made everything so easy. I knew after that date that I wanted to be with him. We dated for 4 years, for engaged on 05/14/16 and are now getting married this October 20th.❤️ I now recommend online dating to everyone! Hahaha

We always joke that ours is a story meant for Jerry Springer!! 😂🤣😂🤣 in a funny way of course! He is one of my best friend's ex husbands and I'm his best friend's ex wife. Yes, you read that correctly! No, there was no cheating or "swapping". He and my best friend were together 10 years before splitting up 9 years ago. My ex and I split up 11 years ago. I met him and his ex while my ex and I were together and I was pregnant with my daughter 13 years ago. My best friend actually encouraged us to give it a shot, and I'm the MOH in her wedding next October lol. He changed a lot after they split when his mother and my ex/ his best friend both passed away in a 6 month period and did a lot of growing up.

We actually met at work. She was with someone at the time. They broke up and we got close. A few months later we got together. A year later we got engaged and now we are getting married in May 4th. We never would've thought wed be together with a 12 year age difference. But we work amazingly

We're actually next door neighbors, started hanging out as friends, he and his brother, me and my brother. we started emailing each other and got to know each other even more. we were friends for 7 yrs before we started dating, dated for 7 yrs before he proposed, and now getting married in April!

We met at the age of 10 in 5th grade. We never dated in school or after school he went away to the army for 13 years and I lived my life and graduated from college. Due to circumstances that were good and bad we came back together 5 years ago and had a little girl. We will be married in 75 days. We have known each other for 25 years.

We met on Tinder! LOL! Took him 2 months to get my number, and another month until I'd agree to go on a date (I was apprehensive after all the horrific Tinder dates I already endured haha). We dated a little over a month before we made things official, then moved in together at our 8 month anniversary, got engaged at our 2.5 year mark, and are now getting married in October (around 4 years of being together)

My sister and her boyfriend set me and my fiance up. Chatted through texts then went out on a date, and we just progressed from there.

We originally met i middle but wasn't together. He actually used to bully me. But told me afterward that it was only because he had feelings for me. We started dating after high school. It was kinda crazy because out of all the people in the world i never thought i would end up marrying him.
