How are you displaying your table assignments

I've decided I'm going to do table assignments, and I'm looking into ideas of how to display it in an easy to see way for guests. I won't be doing assigned seats so I won't be having any escort cards. I'm thinking of either a very large frame with a big poster printed with the assignments but wanted...

We're doing escort cards (got 200 for about $2 at a going out of business craft store sale) and I'm just putting a label with each person's name and table number on it. Looking for something to file them in, alphabetically. Otherwise I may have someone set them up on a table, similar to how name tags are set out at a conference.

Im putting certain people at tables instead of everyone sitting in certain seats. That way I'm not mad when they don't "sit in the right seat."

Its going to be a bit tricky though because we're sitting family style.

I'm having the cards at everyones seat already (it has the meal choice color so i dont want anyone not putitng down right) and I will have a big photo printed at SAMS (sper cheap btw) and glue that to that ridgid poster board and put it on a stand my sister used to display her wedding album. It will be listed alphabeticly and have Joe Smith - 7 so they can find their name quickly without having to look at all the tables on a chart to find their name

I'd planned on doing the college frame but I've seen it done so many times before. I love the large frame idea. It looks so neat. I have also tossed around the vellum paper noise makers with seat tags. I prefer for things to have multiple uses.

My wedding is in October in New England, so we are attaching escort cards to caramel/candy apples. The apples will be wrapped in cellophane and tied with a ribbon to match my wedding color (dark red). They will be put in alphabetical order on a table as you enter the reception. The apples will serve as both the escort card and the wedding favor Smiley smile
