How are you handling “dancing zones” at your wedding?

We’re going to try to do the dancing zone thing if it still applies on our date, and it’s going to require us to rent a huge dance floor, which means we also need to rent a much bigger tent. Hoping the rules change soon but if not, we’re going to be way over budget.

Does anyone know when the restrictions get re-looked?

I haven’t seen anything official either, and I’ve been keeping a pretty close eye on things. Wonder where Brides of Long Island got that...


Personally I’m really hoping they lift the rule in time for Memorial Day weekend. That’s when our date is, and I imagine many others are in the same boat.

Ok, some new guidance just came out. This is great news, as long as there are no zones I’m happy!

Our venue told us that masks and dancing zones will not be enforced if everyone who attends can prove vaccination status.
