It's funny because 3 out of 4 are all thinking about wearing their hair in a nicely style ponytail and they haven't even talked to one another about it lol. So it may look like I chose a hairstyle, but I didn't.

D, I’m not telling them what dress to buy (only the color), why would I order hairstyles? The two of them are night & day in type & length of hair-I expect very different looks from them. And I still have no idea if they’re doing it themselves or getting it done.

Option D for me. I'm excited to see how they choose to do it!

I only have a MOH and one bridesmaid. they can do what they want. I've seen how well they clean up and I have confidence in them. My MOH is also my niece, and her mom, my sister-in-law, is a beautician and will do our hair. not sure about the bridesmaid

    D. It is the only option. Each woman is different and starts from a different place. A pixie cut just isn't going to updo....

I have done that with my girls too! 2 out of 4 already so amazing make up jobs for themselves and me and my matron and maid of honor will be getting make up and hair done but since we can’t afford to pay for everyone’s, we said if you want to get it done or not that’s fine and whatever you want is fine. I did the same with dresses. When the time comes they just have to the same color or match good and I’m fine! I feel like I’m someone who would be really self conscious if I had to wear a dress or hairstyle and make up style I didn’t like or I feel doesn’t flatter myself and I probably wouldn’t be having my best time and we want everyone to look good and match but also feel good about themselves and feel pretty because that makes for a happy bridesmaid and bride!

No bridesmaids! The wedding is already stressful enough... So I’m super happy I don’t have to worry about any of that!

    D. However they want to have their hair styled. I'm paying for them to have their hair professionally done, but it's also an optional item as a couple of my girls are trained cosmetologists.

    A and B

I think since everyone has a different dress I'll have the all wear the same or similar hairstyle.

Similar to A) I'm not going to just decide and spring it on them, but we are going to discuss it and come up with a hairstyle or hairstyle for all the maids.

    D. They are getting to chose their own dresses (with loose guidelines) so it would be strange to dictate their hair after that. So I'm letting them do what they are comfortable with.

D! I paid for their hair and make-up services but gave them free rein. I gifted them each a custom hairpin that matched mine (no strings attached) and they chose to wear it the day of. 😊

    D!

My sister (MOH) and one of my bridesmaids both chose to have braids because of how grossly hot my wedding day was

I don’t have a full party yet, but so far my girls have long beautiful hair so I think half up half down would look amazing on them. My answer is C

C, I’ve basically shown them what I’m doing and asked that they not do that

I don't have a wedding party since we are eloping, but if I had, I'd be pretty lose with what they wanted. I had shirley temple curls for my sisters wedding as her style of choice (literally perfect ringlets that look like they belong to a porcelain doll) and let's just say, it wasn't the least bit flattering on any of us lol.

    C!

I have some loose guidelines. Because there's such a wide range of backgrounds and hair textures, I told everyone I wanted their hair out or down with some sort of braid or twist or curl happening somewhere. I have girls with blonde straight hair and girls with brown 3c/4b hair. I myself am keeping my hair curly and it will be up, so I also wanted them to have their hair down. This way those with natural hair had the choice of processing it, straightening it, buying hair, or just leaving it as is. Hair is expensive and I really wanted this stress-free for then without challenging the wallet more than it already had to be. I also am supplying a hairstylist who can work with all hair types to help and style anyone who wants it that morning.
