How big does this stone look?

It’s impossible to tell from that angle. It could be an extremely shallow stone with a small carat weight and look bigger or vice versa. You can get a bigger diamond for the same amount of money that’s less clear or flawed in some way, there are many factors other than size that will dictate price.

Yep! I guess I was just wondering what the first impression of the size was on people, so an uneducated guess is fine.

Hmmm marquise are difficult to tell in my eyes. I had a .87 at one point and it was next to a one carat and looked almost identical. To me they look larger than they are . I would definitely consider a marquise 😍😍😍😍

My center stone is a .7 I believe. I’d say .85-.9 seems fair.

Your ring is gorgeous! It looks bigger than a .7, maybe thanks to the halo setting. I have a picture of the ring I posted on a different website, and a lot of people seemed to think it didn't look like a carat. It's actually 1.04 carats, so I don't think I want to pay for the extra carats if it seems small. There is actually another ring I fancy that's .7 carats. On the other website, people thought it looked 1 carat. My finger size is similar to this, about a size smaller.
