How can i involve my brother in the wedding?

My brother and fiance are not very close, and I believe that the groom's party should be exclusively picked by the groom, and people who are very close to him. However, I want my brother involved somehow, and I've already picked my bridal party..I thought about asking him to be an usher, but we're having a casual wedding that I'm not sure an usher is really necessary? Does anyone have advice?

My brother and his wife still walked in my processional before my parents entered. So it was my way of recognizing him. He wasn't in my husband's grooms party either.

I ran into the same issue! We asked my oldest brother (who I am closest to) to be our officiant, and then my other brother to be an usher. He will also be walking our mom down the aisle.

Even if it's a casual wedding, ushers can a good idea to help people navigate to their seats. They are also, in a way, a greeter. I'd ask him to either be an usher, or do a reading (could be Shakespeare or literally anything if you're not religious) or like the PP^^ said - he could just walk in the processional.

Or he could be a flowerman, instead of a flower girl lol.

He can stand up for you. But if that doesn’t work, maybe he could read a bible verse or poem to be part of the ceremony.

My fiance and my brother aren't close, but I'm hoping that my fiance will be cool with him walking me down the aisle. I said that because we are playing only have a couple of friends. We had our ceremony as it's not really a big wedding. I think I'm just walking in the processional could totally work.
