How close or far apart are the dates of your bridal shower and wedding?

As far as I know, there's no real "guideline" of when someone should host your shower before your wedding, but I'm just curious. What's the date of your shower and what's your wedding date? How far apart are they? My MOHs set the date for June 22nd, and our wedding is July 13th! My fellow teachers...

My MOHs set the date for June 22nd, and our wedding is July 13th! My fellow teachers are also throwing a work shower for me (and one other bride) on April 2nd!

    My showers are September 21st & 22nd, and the wedding is October 26th. So just over a month before.

    For me, they’re having my shower April 20th, my bachelorette weekend starts May 16, and the wedding is June 1st.

    We are having everything all in one week my fiancé and I live out of state so our family and friends are all in one locations we having everything during tht entire week.

    My shower is April 27th, Wedding isn’t until beginning of November. We did it this way on purpose since my FH and I are moving into a house middle of April and we wanted to do it while it was warm, before summer so people wouldn’t be as likely to be traveling

    Mine are likely to be over 2 months apart. FILs go to Europe for work/family stuff for several weeks every summer.

    We're planning on a co-ed shower, and we want his parents there, so we'll have to schedule it before they leave. They won't be back until late July, which would be a month or so before the wedding.

    My sister just got doe planning my shower and party. May 11th we will be doing the shower in the early afternoon then going to wherever she booked for the party and staying the night. Our wedding is on May 25th.
