How close or far apart are the dates of your bridal shower and wedding?

As far as I know, there's no real "guideline" of when someone should host your shower before your wedding, but I'm just curious. What's the date of your shower and what's your wedding date? How far apart are they? My MOHs set the date for June 22nd, and our wedding is July 13th! My fellow teachers...

As far as I know, there's no real "guideline" of when someone should host your shower before your wedding, but I'm just curious. What's the date of your shower and what's your wedding date? How far apart are they?

My MOHs set the date for June 22nd, and our wedding is July 13th! My fellow teachers are also throwing a work shower for me (and one other bride) on April 2nd!

    My shower was May 20th and my wedding was August 11th! My work shower was July 11th and the work shower for H was July 27th.

    Bridal shower #1: beginning of July. (To accommodate an out of town bridesmaid.)
    Bridal shower #2: August?
    Bachelorette party: 2 weeks before? Maybe?

    7 weeks. Shower is May 4th, wedding is June 23rd.

    My Shower is December 1st and the wedding is February 9th! We are having the shower the Sunday after Thanksgiving because my family will all be around for Thanksgiving and then we aren't running into Christmas and New Year's !!

    One month. Easy enough for me being a teacher I'm off for the summer. shower at the end of june. married at the end of july.

    Mine are about two months away. Shower for April and Wedding is beginning of July.
