How cold is too cold?

It’s a short ceremony if that helps. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I think 58 is okay if it’s a short ceremony. You can remind people to bring a jacket too. You could also get some blankets to have out for people. I agree that setting a temperature cut off is a good idea.

To me and I’m a Jersey girl 58 is not that bad. I’m so sure you have already put out a lot of money for your wedding by this point and already purchased wedding favors but is there anywhere you might be able to go and purchase pashmina scarfs or shaws (is that the correct spelling) or even on Amazon in bulk? I know out here you can get faux pashminas cheap. Just a thought! Good luck!

58 degrees is fine. Honestly being a little chilly is SO much better than sweating. I would just make sure guests are aware that they should have a light jacket. I'd say if the forecast changes to be below 50 at the time of your ceremony, I'd have it inside instead

I think 58 is perfectly fine, as long as the guests know the wedding is outside! That way they can be prepared Smiley smile

I think 58 is totally fine for an outdoor wedding. We just attended an all outdoor wedding (ceremony AND reception) and it was 30 degrees outside. Yes, we were freezing, but we loved the couple, so we accepted it and wanted to celebrate them. I believe an outdoor wedding at 58 degrees is fine as long as the reception is inside. If in budget, you could always put a basket of blankets outside for the ones who can't handle chilly weather Smiley smile

I agree with the idea to rent heat lamps and scatter them throughout the area. I'm a southern California girl, now living in AZ, so 58 is pretty cold to me. Of course if guests know the ceremony is outside they will probably dress accordingly, but it's still cold. Blankets would also help.

I don’t think that’s really cold as long as people know it’s an outdoor ceremony. That would completely manageable with a shawl or jacket for 30 minutes.

58 is difficult. If it's 58 and sunny with no wind, then outside should be fine. 58 and cloudy with a lot of wind, then it definitely should be moved inside.
