How did every stray pube in the house end up stuck to my wedding gown?

My wedding is a week from today and I decided to try the gown on for the first time since I got it back from the final fitting in January. Now, I am glad that I tried it on, because it reassured the irrational part of my brain that was afraid that it wouldn't fit any more, and I was able to take a needle and thread and tack down one of the bra cups better. But what I wasn't really thinking was that we have two cats (one black) and we haven't been vacuuming as often as we should. I walked back and forth to the bathroom in it a few times, and sat down on the bed to make sure I could sit comfortably. When I took it off and hung it up I saw hair all over the back. Cat hair, human hair, and worst, human pubic hair. An hour and six lint roller sheets and I still keep finding more. When I reach to grab a pube, the static electricity makes it skitter across the chiffon away from my hand, like "I want to be part of this dress forever! Don't you want me to be a part of your special day?"

I mean, if there's that much pubic hair shed on the sheets....good for you?

(But maybe you should should change the sheets more often.)

So sorry this happened but omg it was a good laugh. Just a fyi for anyone dresses are notorious for attracting hair of all kinds. Any time a dress is out if it's bag and being moved about and it touches the ground something will stick to it.

I'm going to assume it's not pubic hair and is actually chest hair. FH is on medication that makes his hair fall out and I find chest hair everywhere. He is often shirtless in the house and we have hard wood floors so hair doesn't disappear when it falls out. We vacuum about 3 times a week and I regularly wash the towels/bedding in addition to the couch blanket, but yeah it's still everywhere. My hair is too, but my hair doesn't look like pubes Smiley laugh

I hope you saved that sh*t. Make FH a sweater or something swanky like that as his wedding gift. Nothing says "I love you" like I went super Martha Stewart and made you a sweater/teacozy/toupee out of cat and pubic hair. You'd literally be giving him a little piece of you!

Uh, I'd be worried about dog hair at my place, and maybe Cheetoh crumbs, but I can honestly say...not pubes. Cracking up.

What in the actual fuck? You have a serious problem if there are pubic hairs all over your house.

    Just gross.

    This can't be real life.

LMAO!! this is hilarious. and at the same time, I'm sorry for you OP :p

For those who don't know, as gross as it sounds, we shed pubic hair something like 10 times faster/more often than hair from our head. I don't remember the exact statistic, but basically it wouldn't be as strange to find strays as you might think. LOL

I've never wanted to clean so badly in my entire life. I hate vacuuming but I swear it'll be the first thing I do when I get home now. NOT because there's hair everywhere but because I'm so weirded out.
