FH and I got engaged on Super Bowl Sunday night. After the game, we were watching Madea Goes to Jail when we mutually agreed to get married!

I see the cool photo, but what's your story?

Quiet Friday night at home. Went for a shower. Came back to our room and he asked me to come look out our room window at the yard. He spelled out in candles and rose petals "I love you, marry me?" And then I turn and see him behind me on his knee and the ring out.

That's the romantic short version.

The real version was I was still half naked and didn't feel like looking since I started painting my nails. He kept rushing me to go look at the window like c'mon will ya just come here. And when I said yes what I really said was "yes but I wish you would have proposed to me when I had pants on" and then he helped me into my pants. And we laughed.

It's not the most romantic story when told in full but hey, it's ours

We were decorating the Christmas tree and after we were done I asked him if it looked empty or needed extra ornaments anywhere and he was like its missing something and then got down on one knee and pulled the ring out of his pocket that was on an ornament hook

Virginia City, Nevada is saloon like town and throughout the streets you hear a bunch of cowboy stuff putting it nicely. Were walking holding hands, my attention was captured by the actions. He saying baby..baby repeatedly and in the middle of the street we STOPPED and then proposed in front of everybody I was embarrassed because I didn't expect it. But I said YES. 🥰

My FH did it infront of cinderellas castle on our dineyland trip as we were "casually" having his family take our pics he went blank and took the wrong hand and just asked haha, it was great

Proposed at my birthday dinner, with close friends and family. We were originally going announce our pregnancy to everyone and he surprised me with the proposal, our friends and family was overwhelmed with all the news within that night... we had so much fun!

He proposed at a preseason hockey game our favorite past time. We went to take fake family pictures as all the important ppl in my life was there. Everyone went up the stairs and my sis started a fb so our friends and family can see. He got on one knee and asked me to marry him (his finger got stuck in the ring box 🤦🏼‍♀️) best part is that it was loud so I was the only one who can hear him. I attached the video so you can enjoy 😊

We were in bed one morning and he said “I have an idea. I’m going to get up and we’re going jewelry shopping after work and I’m going to propose to you.” He’d been talking about this for weeks so I decided to call his bluff and said “Ok. Let’s do it.” He said “Really?!” And I said “Sure, but you better take my daughter.” So he did. Two days later, he put me in his car, which was playing our song when it turned on, then we drove to the restaurant where we had or first date. He had called them and told them what he was doing. They reserved the best table, gave us the best waitress, the whole waitstaff was giddy watching the evening unfold. After our main course, the waitress came over and he handed her his camera. I said “You’re doing this now?!” And he pulled out the box and a piece of paper. He had written me a poem, so he got down on one knee and read it and then opened the box and asked me. When I said yes, the whole place cheered. Even just typing and remembering, I have the biggest smile on my face. 😍

We had invited my kids and their SO’s and a few friends and family over for Thanksgiving dinner and after my friend said the blessing he asked “does anyone else want to say anything” and my husband got down on one knee and proposed in front of my family and friends. I’m so glad that my kids were there with me when he did it. It was really special.

We were on a family trip to the OBX for my 30th bday. My mom decided she wanted to go get our nails done on my birthday and when we got back we were all going to dinner. My FH kept asking me to walk to dinner but it was so hot out I was refusing to get sweaty before dinner. I agreed we could walk on the beach after. Well in the middle of dinner my niece (18 months) got antsy and my SIL said “ok, we are going to have to go” and they left while we were waiting on the check. As we weren’t all leaving I noticed their diaper bag still there. FH insisted he’d take it for them and that he would carry it for them (rather than putting it in the car before our walk). I made fun of him the whole way for carrying it. As we were walking on the beach he stopped and said he wanted to give me my birthday gift. He reached in the diaper bag and pulled out a shirt. It said “last birthday before Mrs.” as I was reading it he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. Apparently he had no idea how to get the shirt to dinner so he and my SIL devised the diaper bag plan! When we got back to our beach house it was all decorated and there was a cake that said “she said yes!”

We were in PCB for bike week with some of our family. Including both our dads. My FH grandma had asked us to take pictures of us on the beach for her. Not having a clue or suspicion I get all dressed up, and we start taking pictures. FH mom pretends to fix my top and when I turned around he was down on one knee! Couldn’t have asked for a more perfect moment being surrounded by family!

FH told me we were going to brunch, which is totally normal for us! So I was like okay cool, but then we get there & it’s a private helicopter ride (mimosas & food included). I was thinking to myself is this it? Meanwhile we go on the helicopter that goes over Los Angeles, Santa Monica, & Malibu, and we stop in Malibu. We chill there for a bit, at this point I don’t think it’s happening anymore (because he was taking so long lol). Well shortly after this thought, he gets down on one knee & asks me to be his wifey! To say the least this was better than any proposal I would have ever thought of haha. I absolutely love heights and a good adventure any day! And this day I got both, and it was my first helicopter ride ever After we went to dinner too, which was perfect since I’m someone who is always hungry lol!

We had a dinner tour through the hotel’s on the monorail at Disney world which went through there hotel and tried different foods from each hotel’s restaurants and afterwards you have a desert and fireworks showing on the roof top of o e of the hotels. So we proposed during the fireworks at Magic Kingdom. It was beautiful and I will never forget it
