How did he propose?

His family has a small ranch in the Little Belts where we got o hunt, hike, ride four wheelers, and shed hunt. He mentioned a few weeks prior that he wanted to go up there to pick rocks for a landscaping project. So he gets me up early on a Saturday (I am NOT a morning person) and I dress for work in holey jeans and an old t shirt. I skipped makeup and roughly braided my hair on our way there. We had my corgi with us and let him out to run wile I pulled on my gloves and threw a rock from a rockpile into the pickup. When I turned back around he was down on one knee asking me to be his wife! It was absolutely perfect and so very "us". We brought the one rock home that I had put in the pickup as a souvenir, along with the rock on my finger lol.

At niagara falls. I was so upset that we lost our place on the edge of the ship. I forgave him later :-)

I actually proposed to my FH. He had been back home for 2 weeks I picked him up from the airport and when we got home he saw that I had put a tag on our kitten "Bug" as we like to call him (his name is actually Bagheera) that said "Marry My Mom?"

On NYE when the ball dropped in front of our friends and his parents I knew something was up when nobody got up or celebrated the ball dropping but me and then I turn around and see FH on one knee and it all made sense! Lol

Mine proposed with just him, my dad, my son and me in the house. He asked my son first if it was ok.

In the police academy! I had 3 weeks left until I graduated. And he is already a police officer. He proposed in front of everyone in the academy during DUI week. It was perfect!

I traveled to North Carolina to visit him during training and on his day off, we went to a nature trail about 45 minutes away which seemed completely normal because we both love hiking and nature. Well he chose the longest trail and we started walking. I was being grumpy because it was my time of the month and I was cold. I also kept making jokes every time we stopped at a beautiful scenic view about him proposing and he was getting irritated. Oh! And he also had told me for the past week that he had a small Valentine's Day gift for me so I was begging for him to give it to me because I LOVE gifts. And we stopped at a very pretty and private spot and he said "do you like this spot?" And I said "yes!!" So he asked me to turn around because he had to get the gift out of his backpack and when I turned around, it was a little jar full of sticky notes and he explained that the sticky notes were things he loved about me and our favorite memories based on the color of the sticky note. Then he was like "you have to read the one in the middle first, and as I was opening it, he got down on one knee and the note read "the day I proposed."and of course, I said yes!!

He proposed in Iceland after the most perfect day of hiking, road tripping, and just experiencing the most beautiful place we'd ever seen. We ended up pulling over to camp in the car for the night and he gave me the ring. Perfect!

At the beach on our vacation. He hid the ring in my beach bag and then asked me to dig out the sunscreen. But I didn't find it so he ripped the bag out of my hands and started digging around yelling, oh god where is it??? He eventually found it.

Surprised me with a trip to Iceland/Paris. (I knew we were going somewhere but I thought it was a road trip. Then I found out we were flying somewhere. I didn't know until I got to check my bags in where we were going. ) in Paris, on our third day there, he booked a boat tour on Le Siene, that he said "came with a photographer". So after the tour we met the photographer and had a mini shoot throughout areas in Paris. We went to a replica of the Statue of Liberty and he proposed there. While he played the song "La Vie en Rose".

It was the most magical, perfect experience of my life. We celebrated later that night with dinner and a show at the Moulin Rouge.

We were on vacation and on the second to last day we were driving and there was this beautiful view to the side of us so we pulled over to look and he looked at me and said "the ring is still being made but this is too perfect now. Will you marry me?" It was so perfect for who we are as a couple. The ring was ready the next day haha!!

On the couch over a glass of wine. It was really a perfect intimate moment, although I know how unromantic it sounds. It was perfect for us, and I wouldn't have wanted it any other way.

On a crazy beach in Spain. We went to a few places in Europe and I jokingly told him if he proposed to me in front of the Eiffel Tower I would say no (I think it's overdone). Luckily he listened!!

He proposed during our "family Christmas pictures" with our dogs! I made few comments that I wanted pictures of it! It was absolutely perfect for us. Him, me, our 2 dogs, and our very close friends who is a photographer!

Last year on Valentine's Day which is also are anniversary. We went to dinner as usual and he told me he had to use the bathroom as I was sitting around looking at the menu for dessert. I hear his voice through the speakers asking me to come over to the front of the restaurant. When I walked up he was on one knee!!!: ) One of the happiest days of my life.
