How did he propose?

We were in Disney's Animal Kingdom and our anniversary had just passed. We stopped to look at a lizard and he started fussing with his bag. He pulled out a book and told me he meant to give it to me as an anniversary gift but he hadn't finished it in time. I started flipping through and it was every note we had ever written to each other from the start of our friendship to the card I had just given him for our anniversary. I flipped open to the last page and he dropped to his knee so fast I thought he fell! The last page had the words "will you marry me?" And I was so happy I was sobbing! To make it even better, the reason we were in disney was his grandma's 85th birthday. He asked her first as to not take away from her special trip, but wanted me to be with my new family after the proposal (there were 18 of us there!). It was literally 100 degrees outside and we were sweaty and gross but it was perfect and I will never forget it ^_^

My FH asked me while we were out visiting a good friend of his in Gloucester ma. We went to the Hammond castle I jokingly check his pockets for a ring. LOL First we went to the garden's he kissed me and I walked off to see everything then ,We took the tour going room to room . I'm a move it along type of girl I don't like to just stand around. Once we where back outside he said he wanted photo's of the garden's I was waiting by the gate he kept walking deeper and deeper into the garden's . I finally went up to him and was standing by him pretty much the same spot I kissed him earlier. He sat me on the edge of the fountain saying he wanted a photo since we don't make it to the coast often . He then got down on one knee and asked me . He had my ring inside a soda cap in his pocket.

FH proposed at the captains dinner on a carnival Cruise!! Totally caught me off guard!!!

He proposed Christmas Day with the ring box hidden in a present.

On the first day of pheasant hunting season... doing what we love! He bent down to pick up a pheasant and next thing I know he is on one knee with a big shiny object!

Christmas Evening in front of the fireplace on one knee - long story short - he told me to check my stocking but i knew nothing was in it because i had checked that morning - so i got up to do it and saw a note that said " please turn around" and when i did he was on one knee and i called him an asshole because i didn't expect it - he laughed - (he can be an asshole sometimes i said yes

He lied to me and said we were going out to eat at the cheesecake factory... instead he had a beautiful gondola waiting for us with appetizers , Italian music playing, apple cider. In the middle of the ocean he said you know I love you with all my heart I said yes I do to babe gave him a kiss and put my head back on his shoulders.. I notice he was trying to get something out of his pocket and it was the ring got on one knee and ask would you spend the rest of ur life with me and I said of course ! Lol

Haha! There are deff pros and cons to intimate and public engagements but one of the pros to the public engagement is how much fun everyone around you has!

This is easier for me to share than type. Sorry for all the Spanish, in case anyone is wondering, they're all just yelling different ideas as to what they think the gift could be "a toaster! a phone! a puppy!" Half of the crowd was in on it and half was not. The end is a slide show that he put together before the proposal, of our closest family and friends congratulating us.

We spent Christmas Eve in the big city South of us sitting in a sports bar watching football. I read while he watched. When we got home, I mentioned the amount of stars that were out. He made me a fire, went in the house for a drink, and came back to get on one knee. Apparently he had planned something out for the Monday after Christmas, but he couldn't wait after the day we had had.

It was over my fall break in school and my FH suggested we should go on one more trip because it was my last fall break. He was working so he told me to go home and think of a list of places I wanted to go to. After lots of research I picked Atlanta because I just heard it was so much fun and there're so many things to do and it would be a great trip. We also had never been on our own vacation before just the two of us so this was going to be really special. The trip started out great! We saw so many things went out to an amazing dinner and just hung out and our beautiful hotel. On day two we woke up went to an aquarium and then went to go get lunch at a sports bar. Something seemed a little off about him but he kept telling me he was just tired. I was having the time of my life and I know he was too, but he just seemed a little off, mostly just distracted. After lunch I wanted to stay to have a few more beers and watch more football because we were on vacation and we had no schedule but he told me we needed to go to our next stop. We approached the world of Coca-Cola, which is the place we were going to next. In front of the museum was this beautiful garden area. We were approaching the garden and I noticed somebody who looked a lot like my little brother. I kept thinking to myself there is no way my brother would be here. Even though my family is from Charlotte, they had told me that they were on vacation in the mountains that weekend. My mom even texted me that they had arrived safely to the cabin that morning! When I looked closely though I realized it was my brother and also the rest of my family standing there. It was my mom dad and my two brothers and they were just sitting on the wall. When I realized it was them I was so confused and I ran up to them asking them 100 questions of how, why and when? Still freaking out and very confused, I looked over at him to see if he was confused too but instead he just got down on one knee and said that they were here to see this…. "Will you marry me" and after he said that I was in complete and total shock!!! My family surprising me was enough considering how far away we were from home. But for My fh to propose to was absolutely a dream come true

FH proposed to me on a saturday morning. I was sleeping, he woke me up with kisses. I turned around to hug him, and he was on his knee with the ring. He later told me he was supposed to propose in Hawaii a couple months earlier, but there was issues with the ring. He had also asked my dad for my hand in marriage, and since we were having breakfast with them that morning he couldn't wait. He didn't want my dad to think he wasn't serious about getting married.
