How did he/she propose? Also, show off your rings!

We went camping for Christmas at beautiful medicene park oklahoma. It was freezing and we stayed in a tent. I saw the ring box in his glove compartment. He saw me see. But I played it off... I was waiting the whole 3 days.. it would seem to get close and nothing would happen. We stood on top of a mountain with beautiful scenery and.. nothing. Come Christmas day, we went home and I was kind of upset and to myself. I went take a shower. He comes in and says "hey come see" and I'm like "what.." so I wrap a towel and get out and he is holding the ring. 🙄 I hug him and I'm like "Well what does it mean?" He's like "You wanna get married or what?"
I asked why he didn't while we were camping and he said he was too nervous and I had already seen the ring.. at one point he was on a tree branch for a long time.. he said he was thinking of saying "I'm really going out on a limb here, but would you marry me?" 😂

My FH asked me to marry him in front of my whole family during my birthday celebration. He wrote me the sweetest letter of the top 10 things he loves about me. The number one thing was that he had a million reasons to left but just one question. Then he dropped down on one knee. I loved how personal his letter was. And my ring is just perfect! I cannot wait to marry FH in August.

We live in Texas and had a weekend planned in Boone with both of our families. On Saturday morning he woke me up to go see the sunrise at an overlook. As we were walking at the overlook he got down on one knee. To completely make me an emotional mess he had a puppy waiting for me a few feet away in a cute little cage in the brush. His amazing friend had driven up at 3:30 in the morning to plant the puppy and take photos from the woods. I ugly cried a lot that day and was so happy to be able to spend that special day with our family.

My FH and I are long distance so he came up for a game night at my sister's.

Back history: by this point we already knew we were getting married. Like planning the wedding already...lol. I had also confronted him a few days earlier about proposing to me because my sister called to tell me what the two of them had been discussing. I specifically told him I didnt want anything elaborate or public...which is what he had been planning (why my sister called me).

So anyway, he assured me he didnt have the money to get my ring, blah blah blah, "I'm not proposing when I come up"...turns out to be a load of crap because he did 😂

He comes up and I took him out to get his Christmas gift before our game night. On our way out of the store as I'm getting into the car, he tells me I dropped something (which is not a surprise bc I drop everything all the time, everyday...including that day while in the store). I've already got my butt in the car so I just turn while sitting and there he is on one knee.

First thing out of my mouth: "are you f@$!ing kidding me??" Because he told me he wasnt going to propose! But it was a really sweet, intimate moment...after I made eye-contact with someone walking to their car 😂

Disney World engagement. Just as magical as one would think and no - not in any way cheesy. Right at sunset in Epcot at the Italian pavilion...park was packed but that area was oddly empty, like it was meant to be. He proposed with my parents in tow right on the water and I wish I could live that moment every day.

All these posts are so lovely! Don’t we wish we can relive them? Lol. Well my fiancé and I have been together for 7 years and I have always brought up the idea of getting engaged. I think I started mentioning it at our 5 year mark and he would brush it off. Long story short, we’re always going on vacation. We went to San Francisco last year and I thought he was going to propose. It didn’t happen. Then we went to Jamaica and I kept telling him “ oh it’s so beautiful here. Only if someone would propose.” Lmao. Nothing happened. I was so disappointed because I had my hopes up lol. So we went to DC in March for vacation and to meet up with his brother in law. His sister also went but flew out the day after us. So that week, my fiancée and his sister kept telling me to get my nails done because we were going to “tour the White House.” I remember thinking “why would I get my nails done for the White House?” Lol. I honestly thought if he was going to propose, but I never saw a ring box. So I ended up getting my nails done. The next day was our “tour”. We get an Uber to meet my sister in law and his brother in law to get breakfast before going. I remember saying to him “where are they? It’s freezing outside!!” Btw, that day it was like freezing. Little did I know, we were walking and they popped out with a sign stating “will you marry me.” I was so shocked that I kept reading it lol. I turned around and there he was with one down knee and a photographer he had hired. Initially, my parents were supposed to fly out to hold the sign, but the flights to DC were ridiculously expensive!

We have been together almost 6 years. We went to run errands and while we were gone he had my best friend go in and decorate our bedroom according to his master plan lol he had a song playing when I walked in the house James Arthur-Say You Won’t Let Go. He got down on one knee and BAM! I ugly cried lol
