Thank you. It's so rare going make-up free for a bride that they even have news articles when a woman goes that route. These pics cone from a few of those articles. I read one where the bride's family wouldn't even take pics with her!

I looked at bridal photos on Pinterest and showed my HMUA the looks I liked. I do not wear a ton of makeup in everyday life, so I did not want anything super dark or heavy for my wedding. I did however want it to show up well in photos. By explaining this to my HMUA and showing her photos, she was able to give me the perfect look.

Your trial will help you decide. I wanted pretty natural and my mua did that but it was actually still too much for me. It looked great in photos but so much in person. The trial really helped with figuring out what I liked and didn’t like.

Day-to-day, I typically wear a more "natural" look -- foundation, eye primer, mascara, and eye liner.

But for the wedding, I absolutely wanted to go more glam (though I did a medium level). I love makeup, I'm just too lazy/unskilled to do a full look, and I thought this was a good opportunity to get pampered and do something a little different.

My husband always says that he likes the natural look, and thinks I'm gorgeous without any makeup at all, but when I got my trial makeup done, his jaw dropped (in a good way!). You can do a more glam look while still feeling like yourself and ultimately just enhancing your features.

I agree with PPs that looking at wedding makeup photos and figuring out what you're drawn to will help, and then a trial to confirm your decision one way or the other.

You're having a makeup trial, right? The trial will help you decide what look to go for. Sometimes makeup looks great on Pinterest but very different in person, so the makeup trial is really important in deciding on a look for your big day.
