How did you announce your engagement on facebook?

I changed my status and included a picture of the ring. Be prepared for an onslaught of notifications.

FH took a photo of my ring and posted, "She said 'Yes!'"

After we called our closest family and friends, we just changed our status and I posted a picture of my ring. It was a great way to get that uplifted feeling after feeling pretty down, and seeing everyone who was excited for us.

I didn't.

We told the people that mattered ourselves and didn't change our "status" until after we got married. And I could really care less about that as well.

Changed our statuses and then changed my profile pic to my ring.

We just changed our Facebook status to "engaged."

Everyone but me already knew we were getting engaged. After we called family and close friends we made a post and changed our status. I agree with Sunshine... be prepared. It's nice, but can be overwhelming.

I told close friends and family first, then announced it by changing my status and writing "I'm engaged! Dennis put some serious bling on the ring fing!" I did not post a pic of the ring. I was surprised how many people responded!

We changed our status and included two pictures. One that is my avatar pic here and another with the two of us holding signs saying he asked.... she said yes...

My friends liked it, even though it is a little corny.

Posted a pic of the ring on my finger and said, "It's official!" I also changed my relationship status.

I told my family first though.

We told all the important people first - for the most part - then changed it on FB. I have so many privacy settings set on FB that not that many people even noticed till later.

We were down in Disney when he popped the question...my parents and sisters were already in on it, so I put the pic below up and in the status said "Yup" :-)

We changed our status to engaged the day he asked me. We then got over 100 notifications of likes on my ring and how FH asked me and comments... We felt like celebs that day! LOL

Not even going to lie! I put "said yes!!!!! " and posted a picture of the ring because I hate when bitches get engaged and they don't share the bling. Sorry not sorry!

We got engaged an a Wednesday evening and made sure we called family and close friends first then just posted we're engaged. Everyone we really care about already knew, so it wasn't a big deal.

We got engaged on a Friday night. We both had to work the next day. FH changed his status to engaged. My phone started blowing up. So I posted a pic if my ring saying He asked and of coarse I said YES! Then changed my status!

Then my phone really started blowing up lol!
