How did you break the news? 💍

I FaceTime my parents first! Lol Of course they knew he talked to then first. Then I Facetime my Best friend she was in Cali at DisneyLand at the time lol I texted one more friend. The next day was New Years so one of my friends was hosting a brunch, I didn’t tell anyone I just wanted to see if anyone would notice. As soon as I walked in her house she hollered 😂😂😂 then pretty much made hints to everyone else to look at my hand during the brunch lol Then a week later I posted on IG 😂😂 cause other people saw from the brunch pictures and we’re being nosey lol

We immediately facetimed our entire family and closest of friends to tell them! At the time we had been together for 8 years (now it's 9 years together) and so everyone was anxiously waiting to hear when it happened. Once all the important people in our lives were told personally, we basked in our time together alone being engaged on three days later we posted it on social media for everyone else. It was a great way to re-celebrate the engagement with all the well wishes we received.

First we called my parents, his parents and my sisters, the day after he proposed. He proposed at around 10pm lol. Then we announced it on social media for all to see, complete with the pose that shows off your ring.

He proposed in front of my best friends and his dad had been holding the ring for him so quite a few people knew before I did. We waited until the next day then posted on Facebook. His mom was upset that she wasn't told privately first but everyone else was super excited.

We facetimed our families and a few close friends! After that, we posted on social media.
