For me since we live Arizona I wanted to plan around the time where it wasn’t hot out . Suprisingly we went to an open house end of last September last year and most dates were already taken i wanted October and ended with November 30th 2024. I say plan in a year in advance so that you can find a date that fits your season and theme.

June is named after the goddess Juno who is the goddess of marriage. I picked 6/9/24 because I figured that's a tough anniversary to forget 🙃

My fiancé is Hindu and his mom gave us dates that were auspicious and had to use. So we went off that and what was most convenient for people and when prices were low 😊

I just chose our date based on my fiance really wanted a fall wedding and my kids go to their dads every other weekend so the date I chose is a weekend that my kids will be with me so they can be part of our day. I also chose the date because I like how the numbers flowed when we said them.

    We chose Nov. 2 2024!
My fiancé and I are both of Latin background. My mother is from Mexico, and we celebrate day of the dead 10/31-11/2. on those days and alter/offering is built with photos of loved ones who have passed. In our culture it’s believed that on those days our loved ones come back to visit us and partake in the celebrations. With that being said, my eldest daughter passed on 11/1, 10 years ago. So we decided on this day so that we could also incorporate the day of the dead offering/alter that would have my daughters photo and other photos of our loved ones who passed. This way our loved ones could be there to celebrate.

We chose our date not near anyone’s birthdays or anniversaries. We wanted it to be special and focus on us. And many people have to travel so we didn’t want people to leave early or have any other reservations due to birthdays or anniversaries. So we chose our date based on that.

We picked a month that was convenient with terms of weather, and the length of our engagement! We didn’t want a long engagement (it will be 6 months) and we’re doing a destination wedding in FL, so we decided on April so that the weather would be warm, but not insanely hot. We then contacted vendors/venues to see which exact date was available.

I never really thought about it. I guess I just love the weather and temperature during that time of year and the date is easier for a man to remember because it's 05/24/25. That and nature is beautiful that time of year.

Choosing the date was easy, we both have birthdays on the 29th, so I figured that was the best date for us. I chose the month of June because I am on summer break (educator) and needed the time to not have to rush back to work.

There were several reasons behind our choice of dates for the wedding. We one, needed enough time to save up for the day. Two, I am a teacher so it needed to be after school was out and all of our kids could be there regarding their job and college schedules. Lastly, we needed it to not be around the time when my father passed away. Wish it was more romantic, but we really just needed to make it work for our family. Excited for 6/22/24!!!!!

We're getting married on 10.19.24. I have always wanted an October wedding because I love fall! My fiancé love outdoors (me not so much in the heat) so October was perfect for both of us! He gets to get married outside and I get my fall wedding! Added bonus, my birthday is in September and his is in November!

Our date is base on a Bible scripture that will be our foundation for our relationship.
    • 1 Thessalonians 5:11 - Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.(May 11, 2025. Sunday)

    Hi!

The date we chose was perfect for us because we wanted a spring wedding, it was on a Saturday, and the date included all even numbers! 4/20/2024 is the same forwards and backwards, so it felt like good luck. And of course, getting married on 4/20 is kinda funny.
